Hi AI, in order to speed up my modeling work within sketchup, this proxy method would be a good solution for me, but I usually render my modeling in Lumion rather than vray, so in my case what is your recommendation for me between using proxy component or vray proxy method although I dont use vray? thanks

21. Hi Minh, I have watched the video very carefully step by step and think it's very helpful. To reduce the load of my model I need to use proxies otherwise the pc will throwing up. I did import a tree and a hedge in 2 seperate sessions and each I safed direct as a model and as well after editing in SU / V-ray and safed the proxies as skp files (methode 3). Now I see that the proxy-skp files are 3 times bigger then original model-skp files. What is best to use in my model to keep the model as light as posible?

    i have a vray 3.4 and when i click export proxy there is no "Export Proxy window", so i don't get the options you refere.
    in the manual i see that i should have the "Export Proxy window", is there a variable, or option to turn this window on?

    With version 3.40.04 of vray there is no option to export the proxy 🙁
