  2. its much worse than this. The super rich also include the military industrial complex. They brought us the 9-11 hoax, the Kennedy assassination, The Vietnam war , The iraq war and the war in afganistan. They own the republican party lock stock and barrel as well as the supreme court. The military industrial complex also owns 90% of the media. Thats why you will never see a story about the 9-11 hoax on prime time. I think they are trying to build the world of the hunger games..

And why Does our politicians let Americans get poisoned by some of these same companies , Who do the Politicians work for ? not the American People!!!

  5. Exxon-Mobil has been one of the most pro-American businesses in the history of our country. They provide thousands of jobs and donate far more money to charity and fund public education more than any other organization. They even provide the majority of our funding nowadays to PBS. Anybody who wants to criticize Exxon-Mobil is a traitor to our nation and needs to shut up.

  8. Maybe it's time to drag out some of those suppressed energy inventions.  Oil has run us all into the ground.  Sorry, Mr. Rockefeller, but we don't want your oil monopolies anymore.  There's got to be a better way.

Imagine the improvements we could foster if the Billions that went to Big Oil (with their massive exec compensation and profits) were directed to renewal energies and conservation.    R&D on renewables and alternatives to fossil fuels could just be the challenge our country needs to refocus its energies from endless warmongering to being part of a global solution.     Please share this widely.

  18. I totally approve this message. I work for an NEIHS study that's documenting the health effects of the Gulf Oil spill on the people who cleaned it up. My conversations with the jetsam of Exxon's impunity are pretty amazing. It's like we had a little Bhopal in this country and no one knows about it at all. smfh

We all use oil to some extent, so at first blush this ad may seem unfair or hypocritical.  But the way that Exxon goes about its business of bribing (yes, let's call it what it is – in this day and age politicians are bought and work for corporations, not for their constituents) Congress to stall on greenhouse gas reduction is just not sustainable for our country or our world. 

    Worse is the $8 million Exxon has poured over the years into think tanks and websites specifically designed to misinform Americans about the science of climate change.  They are very much a reason why there are all these clueless yahoos out there who think they know more than humanity's scientists.
