5. Rio de Janeiro has some of the most overrated sights in Brazil. Although you may enjoy them, they're always crammed with people from all over the world.
   I'm not telling anyone who's planning to do a trip to Brazil they shouldn't go to the Pão de Açúcar or to the Cristo Redentor (Christ Redeemer). It's just that you should be aware of this and don't think Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are all that you have to see in Brazil.

6. The "different culture" thing is true also within European nations.
   The people that you'll find in different cities are very different.
   Different attitude, different food, different panoramas – even the language may sound very different.
   I'm sure that also in the USA there's a lot of diversity, but in Europe it is probably much more.

8. Sorry, but you don't know what you are talking about. Brussels is a city "to discover". It's a city that grows on you. Not the kind of fastfood that you are used to. But hey, no problem, leave Brussels to people who can take time to learn to appreciate new things.

12. The thing that annoys me is that people from the USA and other continents always miss the Balkan. The Balkan is probably one of the best places in Europe and you'll experience a lot of culture, history, etc… I'm from N.Macedonia and my country offers a lot of beauty and history for tourists to experience, especially the town of Ohrid (the Jerusalem of Europe).

13. Actually i think that brussels has better tasting food than England. Also its decorated with so many statues representing suffering, it give the city a sad atmosphere. And i do love it because its uniqueness and yes that little statue is way over rated, i walked past it like three times until i found it.

Americans often have this wrong wrong concept of "Europe" as a single country…It is a union of countries and peple can travel freely in it but that's pretty much it…Even if I have an English-like complexion and I am a rather quite Italian, I don't think I could be mistaken for an English or Norwegian …

16. Based on my travels what I observed is that European or for that matter people from any other part of the world don't really dislike Americans. What they dislike other than the politics is when some Americans throw an attitude of entitlement or special concessions because they are from America and are rude to the people of the country they are visiting – that's what pisses people off 🙂

22. Totally agree sir. Brussels sucks big time (lived there for a year) and the mentality is much better in the north than in the South.

25. One of the best things in Europe is the annual Christmas Market in Brussels.. Awesome fun, great beer and far better than the German equivalent.
