6. accept this does not work until you boot into as OS. the terminal will not mirror to the screen on start up which sucks because my laptop is damaged on the left side of the screen and I cant see the text. thought I could mirror to the tv as second screen but nope, does not work.

8. i got a vintage PC ( with VGA , without HDMI ) , a basic 32''/81cm TV ( with 2x HDMI ) , a VGA-to-HDMI adapter and doesnt work . the TV's HDMI worked on television decoder . the computer's VGA also works on my monitor . i also tried the TV with my Dell PC ( that has both HDMI and VGA outputs ) and it doesnt work either . should i replace the TV with a monitor-TV or a monitor ?

19. I have been trying to connect my TV to my computer all day with a HDMI cable but only got my computer desktop picture on my TV and the sound from YouTube but no videos Showing. I watched your video step by step yesterday and did everything you did but unfortunately I still got nothing apart from the computer desktop still on the telly. 😢 if you did anything else to get it on your television that you didn’t show in the video please let me know.

20. Hello my TV don't have VGA port and my V. card don't have HDMI port, so I bought VGA to HDMI cable and did everything you said, but the TV just stays on black screen. What should I do (I did the control panel settings, I did set it on the VGA port)

29. My friend, who is 74, is having this problem with a Chromebook trying to run the picture to his TV with an HDMI cable for the first time. A friend got him a $6 16 foot cord on eBay, and he has audio but no video. I'm going over to help him at some point, but not sure what to try first with a Chromebook. Any advice would be appreciated.

    The sound on my laptop is sometimes good; most times way too low. The laptop has been like that since new. On my previous laptop, the sound was always great. Is that an indication that there is a problem with the computer given that it works sometimes?

    To avoid that, I have been using my SMART TV to provide sound. Now, the picture shows, but no sound.

    The laptop has only one HDMI port. I'm concerned that so much plugging and unplugging is a problem. Is there a way to prevent issues with that?

    Other than buying a new cable, is it possible to determine if a pin is broken, if so how? I hate to buy a new cable if not needed.

32. I have both on both,but hdmi usb is so easy quick plug in. I just get hdmi, but maybe b4 I even spend the money try olf pc vga,cuz maybe no chord at ebay cheap and not paying even walmartbtlregular retail. I rather at mist $3 if not less. Hope Ensy China has it though. What if you have ild 2003f flat screen & you have the ports, but chromebook nit windows tablet ?

35. Unfortunately I already knew this. My issue is that my tv says unapproved and my hp laptop doesn't acknowledge it. I just wasted an hour troubleshooting and researching. No luck.

45. i hav my HDMI going from my LapTop to my 65' 4K/UHD TV.but thing is is that the Video Resolution is on 2160P of the TV an i cant chnge that.but when i try chngeing the screen size to see if the thing will go dwn to 1080 all that happens is my screen gets smaller.any ideas?
