  3. Some bullshits here:
    1. "The Croatians did the same.."…. no mate, Croatia was part of Hungary so the King, the same King ordered the same order to build fortresses all over his kingdom.
    2. The Mongols attacked later twice on Hungary, the second attack was in 1285 and ended up in a devastating loss ofor them. THey lost 4 big battles one after the other and their leader Talabuga was escaping on his feet… They never ever tried to attack again on Hungary, only as Turkish auxuliaries.
    3. In fact the new Khan 'election' happened in 1246 and Batu wasn't even there. The Mongols left the area rather because of their extreme losses after years of fighting and so far from their reencforcements. Hungarians kept more that 150 fortresses in their hands and the Mongols with their light cavalry was impotent against them. Hungarian counterattacks simply made them too weak to stay any longer.
    4. the claim that Hungary and its army was distroyed is utter nonsense. The King indeed gaged some territorries to western kings for their help which never arrived. In 1246 the King and his army simply annihilated the Austrian army, killing Friedrich the second and the whole Babbenberg-dynasty. How could have this happened if the whole country would have been devastated and left without soldiers?
