9. I kind of like that there is a New Year’s Day special since there has already been like 10 Christmas specials and there are so many of them for tv shows and barley any New Years specials. I like this idea! Also the title name for this episode is good to!

    this new writing staff cant do anything creative or sci-fi
    so they will likely bring something old that worked.

    I was a big fan of Doctor Who until this season of Doctor Who has been boring It has become too PC bad writing bad acting the whole thing was just garbage

17. Yes everyone its Daleks because Terry Nations estate has said the BBC can only use Daleks if they are used once a season. But you have to wonder how they are going to totally destroy these iconic monsters just like they have totally trashed this show to such a degree that after 53 years of watching ill be in the garage new years day watching some paint dry. It will be 100 times more exciting than the total rubbish we have been served up this year. I really wanted jodie whittaker to do well but this is worse than garbage! Please BBC Cancel it before its so bad it will never be resurrected again!!!!

43. "The most dangerous creature in the universe" we've heard that multiple times this season, even when referring to something as ridiculous the pting.
    I hope this time they mean it and don't just throw empty phrases around for the lack of more creativity to describe their monsters appropriately.

    I'm not hating on the season or the writers, i really enjoyed this season, but most monsters were just weak. And the overdramatic exposition surrounding them was just absurd.

    I hope the special as well as series 12 will have better monsters and A LOT less exposition.
    (E.g. in episode 8, the Morax explain their motives and history which is totally fair, but then the doctor explains it AGAIN to the companions. We heard you the first time, now please move on and get something done. Even in episode 9, which was the best one in that regard, we were told about things we didn't really get to see, e.g. the rat that the guy in the antizone threw to the moths. We didn't see he had it in the first place, we only learned this through someone mentionning it).
