23. People have short memories. They clearly forget that Portugal won the Euro 2016 not because of Ronaldo alone but because people like Nani and Quaresma stepped up to support Ronaldo. Nani scored 3 goals at the Euros, same amount as Ronaldo. Quaresma scored a winning goal in the knockout. Nani and Quaresma were also key in converting their penalties in the knockout win. Some people even forget that Nani actually captained the Portuguese team to win in the final after Ronaldo was injured very early in the game. Ungrateful Santos dropped Nani out of the team for the world cup 2018 just two years after he had excelled in Euro 2016 and the result was Portugal being knocked out in the round of 16. Aside Ronaldo, the rest of the Portuguese attack do not have tournament experience and it'll be key in the knockout rounds at the Euros. I wasn't surprised when Ukraine topped Portugal's group in qualification.
