Huge THANK YOU to everyone that watched our channel this year – we love our viewers so much and know that we would be nothing without you!!! 👍👍💙
Plz don't compare made in China things and made in USA things .
But US win Arm race
As a European with barely any skyscrapers, the Speed in which China is building is insane, whether that be skyscrapers or roads/bridges, they're rapid.
I personally don't think Europe needs skyscrapers (at least not yet) but the art of Europe is it's old design and feel.
It's what makes Europe Europe if that makes sense, America was the new world so it's visions were to be different and new.
As good as a skyline look from afar, I don't necessarily believe its that good up close, the building is good architecture, yes, but they block out the sun and it just feels clogged… But I suppose that's the future when you need to supply apartments for millions of people in such small spaces.
Look at Hong Kong, 355 skyscrapers in such a small place, it looks good from across the water, but the in the city…
The tallest building in the world may be in Dubai, but was designed by an American architect named Adrian Smith ; )
Boooooooo USA USA USA
It's not that America lost the skyscraper race to other countries, it's that America wasn't even interested in competing. Even now with a slate of new skyscrapers in the works, I think there's less interest in competitve height and more on luxury. Competing for the tallest buildings have long been passe in America. For other countries that's not the case because they've come into their own relatively late.
we need to build our own ghost towns and cities instead of shipping men to asia to be slaughtered. We need identity based infrastructure.
The reason the US no longer builds sky scrapers is because tall buildings look like phallic symbols which is just another reminder of the patriarchy. When you have a skyline full of phallic symbols it is a statement that gender diversity is not tolerated. The US has moved toward building 'earth scrapers'. Earth scrapers are deep trenches that are constructed deep in the ground. They are every bit as good as sky scrapers, but they don't get the same recognition. There are some skyscrapers in the process of transitioning into earth scrapers and vice versa. We are unsure of what to do about these transitioning structures at the moment. Don't get cocky, China. (I apologize for the use of the word 'cocky' which is yet another reminder of our oppressive patriarchal society.) Don't get arrogant, China! Soon you will be faced with the problem of an oppressive phallic skyline.
one word: suburbanization
I love every B1M videos. Keep up your best work.
How America Lost the Skyscraper Race?
The next question is why does the United States use all national power to suppress Huawei?
Why did China start to comprehensively contain China?
The answer came out. . . .
Not a mention about how US corporations have largely move away from skyscrapers to suburban corporate campuses? Corporate culture in the US generally does not like skyscrapers anymore, instead favoring the newer campuses that were pioneered by the tech giants. Campuses are more efficient, cheaper, and resemble the universities that skilled workers are familiar with.

You pronounced Willis wrong.
US didn't lose. Just backed out
Dubai left the server
I feel like china is just trying to beat America in everything.
Here in China just a few cities really need to build such numerous skyscrapers: Beijing, Hongkong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou. But for the reason that China is under control of Communist, most of the cities in China are trapped by the race of skyscraper-construction, building far more skyscrapers than actually needed. In this case, lots of cities in China are suffered from extremely high vacancy rates, both office buildings and apartments.
As an American, frankly? I don't care if we "lose". You're welcome for idea. It originated in New York City. First Skyscrapers were there. So what if someone else makes them bigger? There HAS to be better geography and grounds to build them bigger and taller, than in that crowded city of spires, already. So, again. I dont care if we lose the race. I'd argue, that's not the point. The race is: humanity building towers to reach to the sky. Go people go!!!! ANYBODY!!! Build! them! Taller!!!!! And, again. You're welcome. 🙂
The greatest growth the world has ever seen that’s CHINA ❤️for u Love from India ❤️
anyone interested in this video, I highly recommend u to search skyline China, a YouTube channel, or just search shanghai city view, etc. it is pleasing to watch to say at the least.🙂🙂😊
I really don’t see why people would even want skyscrapers… big high rises = dark, depressing ‘sunlightless’ ground
P.s. if you had to choose between New York vs China for vacation, we all know where we would go.. good ol Merica
China is still a devepling country !
It's because in the US we don't care about big corporate symbols of prosperity thrown in our face when we are barely making rent sometimes. ESP if they are gonna use tax dollars. China has a communist govt that just builds to build.
Have been to shanghai few months back it is the no 1 mordern city in the world fast growing nation friendly people with good heart
USA vs Europe?
You did everything but explain how they overtook America in construction of skyscrapers
Art Deco will forever be best style.
Can you do a video on Israel's 520 meter skyscraper coming up?
MY SKYSCRAPER HAS 427 MILLION HORSEPOWER COBRA JET MOTOR, WITH A 44 ON THE FLOOR
You sound like ESO – Elderscrolls guides
The United States of America started and won the skyscraper race. Prove me wrong.
US mostly consists of small cities with only 1 big city.
China has 50 big cities.
So, no wonder China won the skyscraper race.
How u lose when youve already won..for a century
No 'skyscraper' city looks as good as New York though.
