2. Echo makes good saws but the bars are a little to flexible my chain would consistently pop off tell I got A better quality bar.

3. Choose one that actually runs ‘straight from the factory.’ My brand new CS-490 won’t even start… gotta return it, what a pita…

10. I have a ECHO Tophandle chainsaw CS260TESC,and it works pretty good for me!

11. Can you get through a 4 foot tree with anything else? A small saw will bog down on a tree that big. Even a 18 inch saw.

13. well thats the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard.. i use my top handle saw on the ground and in the tree…what if i want to fell a 10" tree…but dont want to deal with a 24" bar…just get out the top handle saw..

19. A neighbor of mine swore by Stihl for years til he bought a Husqvarna…Stihl is great, but not the only game in town.

20. Actually all the saws have pros and cons…Stihl is a great piece of equipment. So is Husqvarna, Echo, even my low end Poulan for standard use. Also, my McCulloch saw is still going strong. One of my neighbors swore by Stihl all his life until he picked up a Husqvarna…my buddy has a Stihl and my Poulan 4218 AVX ran equal to it.

21. @emanhacker because the cs8000 Echo 80 has more balls than your Husky 55.

22. We had a 30 inch tree fall last winter and I got the 8000CS lol. Muah ha ha ha ha.
