2. Al Davis was Never the master of the game that is so often claimed, I grew up in Oakland and My Dad had been a Fan going back to Old Frank Youell Field where was my first game. I've heard all the Bullshit on how everyone is against the Raiders and that's why the team has only won 3 Super Bowls, I'm well into my 60s now and I think I know why this has been. Lack of DISCIPLINE! As for the Great Conspiracy Theory that Bill Callahan plotted with Jon Gruden is a Load of Crap! If there was any major change in game plan it would've Never gotten approval from Davis who by that time was running the Team from behind the Scenes. The Older Davis got the more Tyrannical he became, he built the Raiders and He Destroyed the Team he claimed he loved so dearly.

    From an outsider perspective, it just seems crazy to me that Callahan would change the plan two days before against their former head coach. Both teams only had a week to prepare, but Gruden was able to prepare the Bucs for everything the Raiders did.

    Yes people are going to chime in on how the Patriots add things last minute, but there’s a difference between adding some new plays last minute to changing the game plan last minute.
