Isn’t the worlds fastest reader rainman
I love Howard
this was fcking amazing
The crazy thing is I live near Maastricht (in Belgium, against the Dutch border) and I never knew about that bookstore. Will definitely check it out the next time I'm in the city.
I have the opposite problem where reading can take over my life and make me antisocial and procrastinate responsibilities, sort of like a social media or Netflix addiction 🙁
BOOK ANXIETY ! I’ve never had anyone put words so accurately to how I feel
First time in this channel and meeeeen this video is amazing, i feel now with new energy to start reading more and more! Thanks 😀
"50 books a year is a lot"
fanfic readers, gen z, younger gen y : 👀
this video gave me bookgasms
Man I'm so glad you visited the Ateneo bookstore. Proud to have it in my city.
clicked this video, saw the length and figured I wouldn’t finish it but holy shit was this well done
Beautifully done video. But while all of the bookstores were architecturally gorgeous, and I would visit them for that reason, they didn't do it for me as far as good bookstores go. I like to be literally lost among the books, floor to ceiling. My personal top three favorite (used) bookstores would be:
3) The Half-Priced Books flagship store in Dallas, Tx. Love all HPBs but that location is huge and not to be missed if you're a book lover that happens to be in Dallas.
2) The Chamblin Bookmine in Jacksonville, Fl. I've literally gotten lost here on more than one occasion and had to wander a while to find my way back to the front. Loved every minute of it.
1) The Book Barn (original location) in Niantic, Ct. It's a literal old barn full of books. Plus they have several outbuildings also filled with books, a playground for the kids, a koi pond, goats that you can feed, several resident cats, free coffee and cookies, the list goes on. And the prices are VERY reasonable, only $1 for almost all pocket paperbacks. Love, love, love to make a day out of visiting here. Just make sure to layer up if you go in the winter because there's no heating anywhere. Also, wear comfortable walking shoes!
I am so immensely captivated by everything in this video. From the beautiful bookstores, the people you meet, and the whole journey and reflective message in this video. Thank you so much for reminding me how incredibly magical reading and books in general, are.
Lifetimes of knowledge available for us, yet we spend our time scrolling through social media.

THIS GIVES ME HOPE
True Masterpiece👌… Love from India
Que orgulho de ver a Livraria Cultura nesse vídeo!!!!! Brasil representando 🇧🇷💙💚💛
I am allergic to a particle present in old books though, so they are my only option, unless the used book is really well looked after and has 2 years of "antiquity" max.
That rant at the beginning is exactly how I feel
Absolutely brilliant, thanks for the great content behind this video

This is possibly the most amazing video I've ever seen on YOUTUBE 😍❤️
True quality content! I feel like I don't need to watch anything else for the rest of the day.
Shame about the swearing… otherwise really interesting..
Really nice video, it makes me think a lot.
this has made me turn off all the notifications on my phone and trying to get my life back
Howard Berg is a fraud.
Harry Potter made me read books
Everything in this video makes me so happy. Thank you. This video honestly addressed all of the problems I have with reading. I am going to read 10 minutes a day. Your video helped change me so again thank you
I spent the longest time wondering why I felt like I knew this guy and then I remembered, MAX FROM CATFISH!
I'm here for the 4th time to get out of reading rut
Bro. This is good. Like, really good. Thanks
i think you watched a bit to much of casey neistat
Still reading Finnegan's Wake….it's been over 30 years!!
So, what's the point of reading. If your gonna die at the end.
I'm staring at a 5×8 inch book filled with 663 pages and I'm thinking how the fuck am I supposed to read this? As anxious as I am, I'm gonna read it.
The single most incredible video on you-tube. Just blew my mind.
Get this video an award any sort of this is crazy maindbliwingggg
I have read 8 books in 3 days. I averaged about 5 hours a book.
I tried but books are boring as fuck, it's just words on a fucking page
The guy in yellow in the background! 8:00
#hilarious
This is worth watching 💜
Wish to know how much did all this journey costed; that's certainly a travel I want to make.
nobody is going to talk about the fact that he is the guy from catfish?
I also read kinda slow so I'm albe to absorb n understand the content better n re-reading a good book u see things u missed or forgot
Audiobooks are nice to listen to while multitasking since some readers animate the dialogue for the characters in some books
A bookstore is full of knowledge it's like so much music to listen to or movies to watch
I want to befriend Howard, he seems so nice
