    "It's hard but it's true, I can't stop myself from thinking about you" doesn't make sense though.
    "Hard" describes a task which is difficult or enduring to accomplish, but it's still possible.
    "I can't stop myself" states that the task ISN'T possible.

    And before y'all come in here with "she's talking about it's hard because she has to think about them blah blah blah", that's now how sentence structure works.

    I don't care, in my opinion it just makes an artist even better if they're able to construct lyrics without having to break the rules of the language they're written in!
