We have two new racks!! We bought a Vision rack to use as our quarantine rack for new and rescued snakes, and we also got a Vision hatchling rack! In today’s video Ted (from Custom Cages) and I show you how to setup their rack systems. At the end we show them all setup and in action with reptiles inside!

I want to send out a huge thank-you to Ted from Vision for delivering them and helping me set them up! To learn more about Vision racks and caging, go to

(No, this isn’t a monetized/sponsored video. We just love their caging systems!)

  1. From my experience I've found that little by little pulling the end of the chord (or anything else that's long enough to get tangled or knotted) through the knot. It comes untangled faster that way.

  2. I have a baby king snake now…he was at my work and my work being animal feed there is a lots of rats but also they have poison out for rats ..Soo baby king snake has his own 35g till he or she gets bigger and only took a week for me to get it to eat frozen rats and I handle her him everyday

  3. I feel bad for saying this since I love this channel so much, but the mice thing wasn't ok for me. I know snakes eat mice. I know it's nature. I really do. But seeing mama making a nest for the babies and knowing that exact ones are gonna be food made me sad. Please don't hate.

  4. I keep a Taiwan Beauty Snake (see a video in my chanel). They are really pretty. Those eye stripes!
I think this is the first time I head that you keep rodents on your own. I do hope you have them killed and frozen humanitarly and painlessly.

  5. Hi Emily! You mentioned that the caves don’t fit in the new narrow tubs and I think adding egg carton as a hide could benefit you! When I quarantine snakes I put them on paper towels and given an egg carton hide. It’s super affordable and easy to customize for the size of snake or enclosure! And you can compost the egg carton (or recycle) when you’re done 🙂
