  1. A lot of these new inventions on bikes are really rubbish. Like disk brakes that start hanging all the time giving extra resistance. Or ''in frame'' break cables that only make problems because the cables are forced in to to tight bends. And what is it good for? In frame break lines? To decrease drag? Seriously ?? If you really think that makes a difference you need to seek help…

  2. The magik bike stand would be handy and fitting, but the selling company is shitty – they just ship to USA and Israel… so as an european I feel like a kind of discriminated. Big dislikes for that inconvenience, sorry. We don't live in the middle ages any more, get that, Zictech!

  3. Соотношения: цена / (надежность, ресурс, ремонтопригодность, кпд ) – стремятся к бесконечности. И эти решения поэтому никогда не смогут конкурировать с тем что считается классикой.

Tips to Buying the Perfect Commuter Bike

  5. most of these are dumb af… or just completely pointless (like the storage/garage thing), it's trying to suggest "eco friendly" , lol but how is that anywhere near eco friendly? You go from steel racks/posts and locks, to robotic automation and electricity consumption, how tf is that eco friendly??

Ski/snowboard bike is old news…. so is the backwards/leaning trike (I rode similar, but was made for two, back in Santa Barbara over 15 yrs. ago).

the one decent one is the wheel with the shocks, but 3 wouldn't work so well. Yeah a carbon wheel with 3 spokes works fine, but that's because it's rigid…. a wheel that's meant to bend is going to need more than 3 points of rebound, regardless of the angle.

  6. 1. Eco parking: Not practical for high volume high throughput bicycle parking. And not suitable for bikes with big baskets or cargo bikes.

    2. Bike stand: Usefull for inhouse parking for most regular bikes. Though a simple wall stand would also work. Not really practical for the average Dutch home storage facility … but most people are not living in The Netherlands.

    3. Skibike: Fun!

4: Tris trike: Worst of all worlds. Not a good bicycle. Not a good tricycle. Not practical because of the unprotected chain design. Too heavy for the practical amount of cargo it can carry. It is a gadget. Battery range is limited (but sufficient for city usage). Due to the third wheel it takes relatively a lot of space to park (in the city). Missing a kickstand, or placing a foot on the ground or not, are really non-issues. The only advantage I can think of, and I am not even sure of that, it might be more stable than a regular bicycle.

    5. EGO kits: Looks like fun in the right environment. It is a toy. Nothing wrong being a toy but not useful for an average day-to-day bike. But, again, fun in the right environment.

    6. Hettlagedrive: I don't know. This technology has to prove itself. First impression: I worry about the irregular resonating forces on the drivebelt while in high(er) gear and the relatively complex construction. But that is just a subjective feeling. Again, this techology has to prove itself.
About complex construction(s) … a Rohloff hub or Pinion gearbox are also relatively complex. But a) these technologies have proved themselves and b) these technologies do not have resonating variable forces on the chain or drivebelt while in a specific gear.

    7. Geo orbital wheel: May fit a niche market. Like wheel chairs and other instance/instant mobility utilisations. Seems simple and easy to use. I have not checked the range capacity. Nor do I know the durability or the influence of weather conditions. I don't know anything about this solution therefore this is a subjective personal opinion. Note: The previous 6 points are more fact based. About facts: The rubber attachment looks a bit fragile to me for rough usage conditions. But this might not be the intended usage and I might be wrong anyway.

     8. Softwheel: Useless. It is overly engineered. Definitely heavier than a spoked wheel. And it either touches the mudguard when absorbing a shock or the distance between the mudguard to the wheel is too great, compromising the mudguard efficiency (to a point it is practically useless). A suspension fork renders the softwheel completely obsolete in every respect I can think of.

  7. TNGNTSKBIKES is not a new concept! I've ride it ten years ago! By the way, it's not a bike!

The concept of Tris Bike is not new! dozen years ago!

    Ego kits also not new!

Ok, i left this channel, much years to late!

  8. I wonder how long the, "Snow bike," would last in the moguls? Hit the first mogul and the driver is in trouble, going from bad to worse on the second mogul and the third mogul would finish them off.
