    Society hides more than gold, it hides information, or, leaves it to people who pay more than a bachelor's degree to understand. Perhaps, they think the common people are to immature for these truths. Studies like the history of math, chemistry, and medicine should be more widely available. We have a controversial past but hiding it will only hinder it. When we go to history class we learn battles and laws. This is far from a complete picture. Hollywood writers and musicians understand a lot this stuff but it falls on deaf ears or confuses people. Nothing disturbs me more than looking into someone's eyes and realizing there is be sense of historical truth in them. Why pay $200,000 for these books? Do your own research.
