  14. Dude, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but SoundCloud rap won't inspire shit as far as creating bands. It will inspire young kids who want easy game and money, as it has. Pop punk is a dead memory, punk is a dead memory, at least as far as I can tell. Of course, I'm probably an aging what would be considered poser, so fuck it. We can forget about good music in the mainstream, save for a few gems that quickly get beat to death (S.O.S by Glorious Sons?). Hopefully my commiserating (fuck yeah Blink) is unfounded and I'm akin to a motley Crue fan in 2006.

    Metallica cause they’re sellouts they changed their sound, James had a big change in his voice in the early 90's after a ton of touring, the way the records are mixed has changed, the songs are written entirely differently lyric wise, changes in personnel, plus they're too old and rich to pull of the whole angry thing,Their music changed from straight up thrash metal to radio friendly heavy metal to radio friendly hard rock

    Limp Bizkit because of Fred Durst and attempted to mix rap with metal (really, really boring metal), Fred Durst's squeaky "rapping

    Nickelback cause they are just dull. Tired ideas, tired songs, their first two hits were almost identical,The Canadian group relies on tried-and-true soft rock tropes and rarely attempt to play anything innovative, sticking with what will reliably get radio play, Nickelback for being inauthentic, faking their way through uninspired, uncool post-grunge for purely commercial purposes, All their songs sound the same, It's generic. Bland. Cheesy. Overdone.

    KISS because Gene's full of himself and says stupid things, Gene's attitude and stunts give the band a bad image. The man is extremely smart and quick on his feet, but he is very arrogant and it's known that he's only in it for the money, their music is bland and easily forgettable.

    Creed cause They marketed a genre that came from the underground with the sole purpose of selling the image. They added nothing original to the table and just ripoffed the genre. They're completely over-the-top and their music sounds lifeless, They followed a trend that had been dead for years and ended up writing melodramatic pop music,and Generic Christian Music

    AC/DC cause All their songs sound the same,Hated for not changing,Brian Johnson’s singing

    Blink 182 cause of Immature humor and Joke songs,Formulaic Pop punk music,Tom Delonge isn’t in the band anymore,Shallow Lyrics

    Coldplay cause The new stuff is catchy but it's just the same stuff over and over again, they have absolutely sold out and become more generic, because they started off as brit-pop and then just became another pop band like Maroon 5, their music is bleak, bland, dull and depressing, and that Chris Martin come across as pretentious.

    Fall Out Boy cause Most of their songs are poppy in regards to their type of music and it almost seems like nearly every single song on a FOB album except for SRAR and Folie a Deux was meant to be a single,Too mainstream,Change in sound from Album to Album,They’re a Pop Act disguised as a Rock Band,They’re not Talented.

    Twenty one pilots cause flow, bad lyrics and no impressive lyrics Choppy lines that don't sound good, rushed, The music isn't anything special, it's average,Christian Lyrics,Depressing lyrics,They got overplayed,Not falling into a lot of trends,They’re really weird,Not everyone wants weird,Tyler Joseph’s singing

    Imagine Dragons cause their songs sound the same,they make songs for tv commercials,Because their music is increasingly repetitive and just repeat the yell for two verses, yell softly for one, return to verse yelling repeat for every song. He sounds like a dad, only makes these annoying hype songs for your average Starbucks and Stranger Things fans and sings within about half an octave.

    U2 cause They lack technical skill,All of their songs sounds the same,Bono is annoying and full of himself,Their music is generic,Their New Music is bad.

    Oasis cause They shamelessly plagiarized other artists,Liam was thuggish, laddish, and arrogant. Noel was less thuggish and laddish, but still very arrogant. Radio interviews boasting about stealing lawn mowers so they could sell them and buy drugs, having to cancel shows because they'd gotten pissed up and thrown off ferries, cancelling whole tours because they considered themselves a higher priority than the fans who'd paid to see them, etc, it rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way,Lyrically, they were arguably nonsensical.

    Weezer cause Every other album becomes a copy of the Blue album. Not introspection. No deeper meaning lyrics. Just more pop. And it's no longer original,New Weezer sounds like it's all based off of a formula. It's the same song, with small variations, and it makes you feel nothing because it feels forced,The green album was a disappointment. It was like they weren't even trying. The songs seemed about juvenile themes of love and relationships and it lacked the texture and the vulnerable lyrics from Pinkerton. Also, the guitar solo is the exact same as the chorus. In every single track. Seriously, how lame and unoriginal is that,Their Geekiness now feels forced

    Mumford & sons cause all their songs sound the same,the radio overplays them and ruined their music by endless repetition.

    So those are the reasons why those bands get so much hate.
