Love your wire strippers, those eyes are hilarious!
Nom nom nom… XD
Thumbs up for the Noctua fan!
That's pretty cool! Great job!
Awesome build, Dave! I love these skeleton look stuff.
I like this
Concerning the Notes on this saying "to bulky to call it a Laptop", well it was more in line with the CPM Katpro's / Osbournes (where I started), similar layout and used already in business (CPM), and if you think the SX64 was Bulky, haven't see my Chendai 8086 512k 20 meg St506 HD, CGA Green Screen LAP CRUSHER, it Also has Full Height (2) 8 Bit Slots, and yes it still has a 8 bit 300 baud modem in it, at about 15kg, I prefer my HP I7 ..
Good concept 🙂
Pi 4 belongs in the trash can. Prove me wrong
I owned a sx64, being a Commodore dealer, once a long time ago, BUT a version that don't cause Hernia's seems a improvement, can it play M.U.L.E or Bruce Lee ?
The tea can for a monitor stand… so awesome!
Why did I bother watching this? You can’t even bother to show it working? Rick
Nice concept ideas. Hope to see a final product review. I am working on something using the same hardware but build into a living room coffee table that has the Pi hidden inside. The keyboard is a Bluetooth unit made for a iPad. The screen will pop up when needed. It’s a stealth computer in a way.
There's an old saying that you should always leave the audience wanting more. This video follows that advice quite well. 😀
Where to get those aluminium bars?
lets say were going to see if the display works with the pie over and over again.
All you need is a nice floppy drive. I'd would have use magnets instead of catches.
You made a Cybedeck, man. Good job. 🙂
Small 2K display? Any info on that?
"using bolts I hoarded in a drawer for 13 years!"
The real success in this build.
Element14 is pretty lame now these days
I like the concept and would like to see it finished and properly demonstrated. Find a use-case for the computer and restructure the video to show how you built this computer to solve your problem.
This channel used to be thebenheckshow.
Very inspiring. I really appreciate you sharing your creativity and thought process. This is quite a unique and visually appealing build.
But,… Will it run Doom?
Awesome! This is something I might try for myself, I have a practical use for it.
Ich liebe das! I can not wait for you to have more inspiration to come back and complete it so we can see the updates!
