This is one of the reasons there are race problems! All you do is focus on slavery. Only rich plantation owners had slaves and the first person to own a slave was a black man. Poor white people never owned slaves ! Just how many plantation owners were there really? A few hundred? This country is about more than black people. The native Americans were treated worse than the blacks were.
