  1. Do you think Americans are better drivers than Germans? I think Mike ate a special cookie or something to make him say that!!! Just a little update video for Mike and his opinions about the USA. I know Mike is quite "leise" in this video but we are working on making him a little louder! Also…. I know the settings are different and the quality/lighting is different but I am trying out Mike's camera/mic set up and it will take some time to figure out what I like. Thank you for watching and have a wonderfullll Wednesday!

  2. Colorado is where it's at 👌 I moved here from WI a year and a half ago. Waiting to move to Germany eventually, but Colorado makes me happy now. Go visit Boulder, Breckenridge, and any mountain towns! Beautiful, eco-friendly, and people aren't as obese 😉

  3. I just want to share my thoughts about America. I visited the USA in 2017, 2018 & 2019. My absolute favourite city is New York. The city is actually almost European, but there is just so much to see and the center is just breathtaking. Last year I went to California – that was awesome! Los Angeles is a little crazy, San Francisco is sometimes a little dangerous, Las Vegas is absolutely crazy. I really really enjoyed the National Parks of Utah – that´s something I have never seen before and it was amazing. I was in Florida in 2018 – Miami, Key West (very beautiful), Fort Myers, Orlando. In conclusion, I can say that I really like America. There is so much to see, people are usually extremely friendly and helpful. In America there are great beaches in Florida, breathtaking cities and beautiful national parks.

  4. We just took a trip to Las Vegas and hit up all the landmarks near there such as the Grand Canyon, horseshoe bend, red rock, etc., you guys should go!

  5. To LIVE: I personally would recommend the DFW area here in Texas. DFW is a metroplex, aka a bunch of cities in one spot that started with the main two: Dallas and Fort Worth. If you want a kind of busy atmosphere that's not overwhelming, aside from traffic, Dallas and it's surrounding cities are the way to go. Even Arlington has it's upsides. Visiting Downtown Fort Worth is very, very nice yet super friendly. Over the past ten years or so, they have been doing upgrades, and now it's a much more fun city than it used to be. There are crappy parts of town, but there are so many places to go within DFW that you don't have to really travel more than an hour to get to the opposite side of it.

  6. The two main reasons it's a problem for people to raise up their trucks and put over-sized tires on them are
    1. worse fuel economy on a vehicle that was likely already a gas guzzler. it's also a social signal of "hey look at me, I don't care what others think, but I do, so look at me I'm bigger than you". Most people drive on pavement, so that kind of ground clearance is superfluous.
    2. in car crashes, bumpers are supposed to be aligned at the same height in order for collisions to be less catastrophic. but when things are out of alignment, that's when you get things like instant decapitation.

  7. Hi Hayley, you asked for places to go and see in the US. I've been travelling around with my girlfriend (she's from the US, I'm German) and I bet two Maß Bier that you would like Asheville! Really laid back and some good hiking around! All the best from Bavaria, Bob

  8. Hi you two! I'm also a German living in the US, my husband is in the military. I just moved here last year. It's been a huge change with some big ups and downs. We live in Colorado and since Mike mentioned Colorado I'd say come check it out and we'll take you on a tour! We absolutely love it here, the landscape and scenery is just beautiful and I love the consistent sunshine compared to grey Germany.

  9. I guess Mike is a "social butterfly" compared to myself, or at least to myself when I don't know anybody in the room.

I understand that you had to shorten Mike's story but it would have been nice to listen to what he would have had to say.

It's not overeating that's the problem but the amount of sugar in soft drinks and the use of growth hormones injected into animals in the industrial production of meat. In Germany, I hear people don't drink as many soft drinks but beverages that are just water based, and those growth hormones aren't exactly allowed.

  11. Milwaukee, WI!! Really cool city, hipster sister of Chicago (and if you're in Chicago definitely do the Tilt, not only the glass balcony) : ) I don't know how long are you staying in the US, but you should do Summerfest in Milawaukee : D there's a lot of Germans in there too, or people with German roots (Germanfest is also at similar time as Summerfest).
Nashville is fun too : ) definitely karaoke in Nashville is fun : D

You should also take Mike to any Reneissance fair : DDD he looks like he would appreciate turkey leg!
