9. I'm Russian, and we're European. Its like calling Spain South American or France African. Siberia and other Asian lands were colonies. Dense population, a clear ethnic Russian majority (yes there are also minorities in france search up french Guiana) Even if you look at the map of RF subjects you can see in the west there are small regions of old Russian city states (much like italy and HRE) and in the east big territories that were just big grabs of colonies. And no Russia didn't expand rapidly during ivan the terrible, Just Livonia and the city state of Sibir (thats were the name 'Siberia' comes from as in Russian it is pronounced Sibir not siberia) The expansion was slow and gradual, and th epacific ocean was reached by the colonists only when Alexiy Michailovich (second Tsar in the Romanov dynasty) ruled. that is 1647, way after Ivan the Terrible. Again our culture is almost identical for all regions of Russia, with some ethnic specialties for some minorities, so mostly we all live in a European manner rather than Asian. our architecture, our language, our Clothing and our Art all are of European type. Again we are a transcontinental country physically and geographically, but culturally and identically we are Europeans 100%.

   (and no im not saying that because being part of europe is something cool and special, I say that because that is actually the truth, I respect every culture and especially Asian, but it does not mean we can change the names of culture, like is Roman Empire African and Asian? or is America part of pacific culture because hawaii? no certainly people who live in Hawaii are of pasicfic culture but not an entire nation.)
