NO
Got an ad for up vanish lol..
This is why you make a botnet of 1000 computers and just hop around every few mins
All of that talking and I STILL have no clue what you're saying I should use. After the first half of the video was already lost.
So this begs the very obvious question – what should you use to try and protect your privacy as far as you are able to do so? Knowing that nothing is ever completely private and that there is risk such as you mention, what do you suggest to people who want to try and protect themselves?
I think NordVPN provided a relatively convincing reply to that server hack :

Sorry dude… Not a good message…… having a premium VPN service like TorGuard or AirVPN with a hardened browser like Firefox configured correctly is a ‘must have’ these days. It may not be perfect but it’s better than nothing. I would caveat that having a free VPN is virtually worthless (pun intended)
Any advantage to using Tor after connecting to my VPN?
You are using VPN interchangeably with a VPN proxy. This is unbelievably confusing to those who don't understand the difference and makes your video barely watchable 1:22 in
I got a vpn ad on this wtf
A VPN just moves all your traffic through an encrypted tunnel to a different network, wich makes it possible for you to access the networks local resources, wich also means that you can use the other networks gateway to access other networks. Nothing more, nothing less….
The problem is that most people don't understand what a VPN is, what is intended to do and what it really does. VPN providers promise so much bullshit and buzzwords, that it makes me mad and a bit of an "anti-VPN" guy. Just because of the false promises. Everybody who works in the IT-sector understands what a VPN really is, what it is ment to do and what it really does.
Like i said….. "A VPN just moves all your traffic through an encrypted tunnel to a different network, wich makes it possible for you to access the networks local resources, wich also means that you can use the other networks gateway to access other networks. Nothing more, nothing less…."
Got an ad of ipvanish vpn in this video.
I used to like VPNs but seedboxes are just supreme
ProtonVPN free version and that's it
i think you should watch tom spark i think he will help you to understand vpns a little better but you still made a good video
btw torguard is a very safe vpn to use
Torrents & geo spoofing, VPN
Super sekrits,TOR
:3
At the moment I am using VPN and there are some good one outhere. For example: Open VPN, Bitmask, Blokada, Sentinel. These much better options than the famous ones and form this list, Blokada is the only one where I have to pay for the VPN. No Free option. But the benefit is that you can block ads, choose different DNS servers and use VPN at the same time.
But I am thinking to ditch all of these for NetGuard for better protection. The only downside is I can not hide my IP when I use it.
Any way that I can use NetGuard and hide my IP somehow?
And what do you think about those VPN-s I have mentioned above?
Take this from an RedHat Hacker legend:
This is completely false! Not only does an VPN ad extra tunnels to your internet connection, can stop logging of internet packets you send to the ISP but also can be a good service to have. Imagine a random DDoS’er (booter) with a massive Botnet in PuTTy to iplog you on social media, he will get the VPN Server’s (sometimes OVH tho)’s Internet Protocol Address and not yours, so if that gets Putten down, you can switch servers and still have fine internet connection. So please stfu with this false information, before I use one of my 10 stolen google email addresses to phish you and host porn on ur channel
Bah! You just want to keep the powers of MILITARY GRADE ENCRYPTION out of the hands of regular people!
go to digital ocean do the $100 promo code get the best vps you can and before the month ends remove the droplet <- make a vpn through that
Why do you spread such FUD?
Yes – VPN's can, and have been, compromised.
But making a blanket statement about VPN's based on 1 hack into one VPN service provider – is NOT realistic.
Because I bought a bag of apples and it had one bad apple – I am not going to tell people to stop eating apples!
The ONLY people I see spouting anti-VPN sentiment – are young people. Why? (not discriminating – just what I've noticed with the videos and articles shared with me)
I have yet to see ANY even half-way decent argument brought up IN the InfoSec community in any public debate fashion regarding the statement: VPN's are bad.
Now…if you started saying that anything that gets hacked should never be used – well…. I'm sure YOU have been hacked, your "MAC" has been hacked….YouTube has been hacked…everything has been hacked – and if it hasn't….give it a minute – someone will GLADLY do so – criminally or not criminally. This means we should not use anything because it has, or will be, hacked by a criminal hacker.
Right?
Please – stop this insane madness by spouting false, completely biased, information.
Want to make it right – TELL people to encrypt, use better passwords, LOOK at the links – or don't click on them…tell them there really is no Nigerian Prince wanting to give you LOTS OF MONEY….tell them how to use The Onion Router – or maybe talk about closing ports like 3389 – turning off Plug And Play…..maybe employing HTTPS everywhere – using random and strong passwords for each site….talking about how facebook . billing123 . com is NOT facebook .com!
Maybe you could talk about what a BEC Attack is – or how to avoid phishing scams.
My take on VPNs = if it is free – YOU are the product!
TOR – open-source, free, developed by the United States Navy to maintain anonymity for their operatives and operations.
Omg, I got two VPN ads 1 for Express by VPN and hide ip address or something like that lol
