در این مجموعه سخنرانی، دکتر پیوندی طی چهار درسگفتار ابتدا نگاهی تاریخی به رابطه پر تنش
آموزش و دین در سده اخیر دارد و سپس به روند اسلامی کردن نظام آموزشی پس از انقلاب بطور عام و آموزش عالی و علوم انسانی بطور خاص می پردازد. آنگاه در آخرین درسگفتار ضمن اشاره به اینکه هر نظام آموزشی دارای نوعی نگاه وجهان بینی است که تربیت انسان آیده آل جامعه مورد نظر نهاد های رسمی و قدرت را مد نظر دارد، در پی نشان دادن کیستی انسان ایده ال نظام آموزشی ایران و نتایج عملی آن است.

Saeed Paivandi is a professor of sociology. He has an extensive background in education and specific expertise in Iran’s post-revolutionary education system. Dr. Paivandi has written more than 34 articles, numerous research papers and comparative studies on topics related to education, including a book entitled, Religion and Education in Iran: the Failure of Islamicising Schools, published in 2006 (L’Harmattan – Paris) and Discrimination and Intolerance in Iran’s Textbooks, published in 2008 (FH – Washington). His recent book is Apprendre à l’université published in 2015 (De Boeck – Paris)o .
