3. I think for this model if they have black door handles on the outside and black alloy or ar least black accents in the alloy wheels it will make a much better visual statement. It is just my opinion of course.

12. I think this is a better value for money than the Volvo V60 Polestar Engineered but the Škoda has lower horsepower, torque and it’s front wheel drive only.

14. they will lose alote of buyers just because of that engine, rs model and 1.4 tsi….everyone ware expecting finaly to get 4×4 on petrol rs version but instead you get extra weight, less space because of bataries and 1.4…. tuners probably very disapointed.But car itself is very beautiful and inside is very nice.

15. With such a big boot it is disappointing that the rear seats don’t move/recline for even more comfort.
    Also, the fake vents and exhausts are hideous.

18. Oh yeah, fake dynamic and aggressive look, and then on the highway, when you run out of battery and you have a problem to overtake still standing objects with that small engine… Crap… RS legacy should not be compromised with eco bullshit…

22. That front end is so anonymous. I'm really disappointed with the Octavia – it just seems a lot more awkward than the handsome Gen 3 before they gave it the ghastly dual headlights. Maybe it looks better than the video suggests but it looks like Seat is winning the beauty contest compared to VW, Skoda and Audi for this generation.

23. All new cars look the same KIA-Škoda-BMW, nothing special in this one as well, plus VRS with 1.4 engine hybrid? Why even bother. Old one had the same HP and no unnecessary gadgets. No driving fun in this one. Just led blink and fake stuff around all car. Car for millennial not car person. Just meh.

29. Brian and Thomas, would you think the Octavia feels more "premium" than the Golf 8 based on your experience with the two?

30. Looks like a seat leon from the side profile, and that’s a good thing.
    And also: the electric system is definetly over 300 volts. No way in hell a 48v system could give the electric motor that much power

31. There are 2 things about Skoda that i don’t like. The first one is that they try to make every model look exactly the same, so no stand out’s really. The second one is that there is a brand new facelift everytime, or new interior upgrades like a bigger GPS screen or more colors on the ambient lights.

    It is simply impossible to buy a perfect Skoda because there are always changes, big or small ….I know this quite well because i bought a new Skoda Superb back in 2016.

37. Sorry I will keep my current mk3 vRS245 … not a fan of the look or the downgraded performance compared to my current car.

38. Currently driving a 1L Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo. This is by far the most stylish vRS. Unless Skoda finally releases a vRS Fabia(AND I HOPE THEY DO).

39. It doesn’t like nearly as nice as the new Golf GTE or Cupra Leon

40. Nearly flat-folding seats are not-flat-folding seats. But these cars look great! Especially the wagon.

41. The exhaust pipes on this car look to be the same as the old Octavia RS. A surround with an actual pipe inside.

43. Love the car except the fake exhausts…why so many carmakers do this??? Premium or not.

44. 11:45 The ledge does make it a bit better than the golf's/leon's awful slide controls, however the climate controls are still in the screen for no good reason other than cost saving. The new Audi A3 kept physical controls, for comparison.
