I like that in my home seven miles from down town Boston I live next to a 4000 acre reservation that harbors dear, eastern coyotes, fox, fisher cats, bobcat, wild turkeys. and the occasional brown bear.
I wish we could bring back Mammoths.
I thought Bisons were an exclusive bovine species to the Americas
u forgot to say the European lion pantherea Leo eurpea of spain itlay and greec when extinct durng the romans times
Oh ye if bin there
the guy looks like bill clinton
fantastic video
I love bison's. I've loved them since I was 4.ever since I learned what they were.i had this small endangered species book from the 1990s ,the Bison was the creature to catch my eye.
And what will you do when the herds get too big?
You can thank us Poles and Belarusians for preserving this marvelous species !! It is pride of ancient Europa
Hmm… would releasing Konik ponies and TaurOS cattle contribute towards the rewilding of Europe? They are descended from domestic breeds of horse and cow, respectively, but they're pretty much indistinguishable from their extinct wild counterparts, visually speaking.
Actually Romania still has wild horses even now.To be fair only a small number in the Danube's delta, but they still exits! Some locals are pure assholes trying to kill the animals because they think they are dangerous(Yet so far most complains were how they eat the park of trees in winter…How is that dangerous for humans?),but others are actually really sweet with them and sometimes in winter they give them hay or carrots and apples to help them out a bit in those hard conditions.
I see bisons are making a comeback too, slowly and with lots of efforts but I saw articles were they have released small herds in the historical regions of Transylvania and Moldova,(And making new herds in the regions of Muntenia and Oltenia)and they seem to be doing rather well so far.
Its a pleasure to see some people are still trying to keep nature as it should be <3 !
gunna need bear and wolfs tooo
Amazing video! I like watching earth, explore and calm down…
If Mammoths are coming back…
Great video! Great story! In Holland we have since 2007 a conservation project for the European Bison, or Wisent.
Have a look at my latest video, to see the beautiful coastal dune area where they can stroll around.

The Problem is that a lot of trees planted in Europe by humans are not broadleaf, but conifers because they grow faster.PLANT NATIVE BROADLEAF TREES!
Are those juveniles? Or are they just smaller than North American Bison? Because to me at least they look a lot smaller than the ones in the American West.
It always saddens me when I look at my own country (France) on google Earth, and see how little wilderness is left. It has all been devoured by agriculture…
Finally a great big story from Romania!
Well done Great Big Story and keep up the good work!
Awesome!
