Wish I could get the Met more often, this looks like a great exhibit
It's fairly easy to build these kinds of toys now with electronic boards like PSOC-5 or raspberry pi, programmed with a language like embedded C or Python. It's amazing that these objects work without computerized controllers.

Humans are adept, at times, to create some exquisite devices. I'll give them that.
Wow! I would love to see a series of individual videos of the moving works, without a bunch of edits. Just a static shot or two so we can really get a sense of experiencing them in person. (I’m assuming that the works in the exhibition will not be moving often, if at all.)
Will any of the objects with moving parts be demonstrated during the exhibition?
