But if in the future almost everybody has a full node, is it possible to make a lot of money for anyone as long as you have channels with high limits and a lot of connections?

  4. Bitcoin cannot scale. It uses the lightning network which is KYC-compliant and funded by the traditional fiat system. The price is manipulated as proven by the recent University of Texas study. Please realize that Bitcoin was hijacked and what you imagine to be Bitcoin actually became Bitcoin Cash in 2017. Search YouTube for "How the banks bought Bitcoin".

All the top developers ADMIT IT! Not to mention that routed payments on LN are terribly inefficient. Not user friendly. The liquidity problem will NEVER BE SOLVED… and BCH can to p2p payment channels just fine and you get 99% of the functionality of LN for 1% of the time investment and none of the technological headaches OR changing over to segwit. No segwit loss of security – no ruining the nash equilibrium of mining – no high on-chain fees – no centralisation – no loss of user experience.   21. Everybody must use it. Otherwise it becomes LN users vs Bitcoiners because them between it is not possible to make transactions. To buy a coffe there must be two addresses you can shose to pay from LN (off-chain) or sending to the chain as QR code is today.

  28. Lightning Network is effectively centralising Bitcoin – Banks and Regulators will be involved within administration of these hubs. What they are trying to do is be in a position to tax every transaction ever made with Bitcoin if it is ever going to be used as a currency with worldwide adoption.

    Lightning Network is off the chain – Bitcoin is finished imo – its more likely to go closer to the value of $5000 by the end of the year – when everyone starts realising what it is – i actually believe it will go much closer to $1000.

    Andreas knows very well whats happening here – he has actually known since mid 2015 where he let slip certain facts in his interview with London Real. He said that "they" had issues with transactions – "they" as he identifies them are clearly the regulators , banks , and those with the guns.

    All of these with mass holding with BTC will just agree to anything – they just dont want to lose their power and value of holding that they currently have .

  34. No no – the lightening network is a scam – the block size should be raized – the lightening network will inevidable create middle men with large amount of cash to pass the transactions. It's a scam – or they are just to dumb to see this – most likely their not.
