  6. Ellen didn’t mean it that way. Her joke was taken out of context. She wasn’t saying her house was like being in jail. She was saying it’s like being in jail because she had the same clothes on for 10 days and everybody in her house is gay. When you are a woman and you go to jail, you do wear the same clothes for awhile and most woman in there is gay. She was making a comparison.
