    After watching a number of kale recipes I noticed that Yanks generally throw the stems out. In Asian cooking it's generally used, with a note like "just cook it a little longer".

    You are probably aware that the resolution of your video is really low? Makes it hard to watch.

  2. Kale is also awesome added to soups/stews…I usually add mine in the last 10 minutes but you can't really go wrong…even if it's a bit overcooked, the nutrients all go right into the soup liquid. All HAIL the mighty KALE!!! ♥!

  3. Discard the stems? Really? Just throw away all that nutrition? You obviously have no idea how delicious those stems are by themselves, raw. Like eating celery sticks. Crunchy and really nice taste.

  4. the frist time i got kalle ( whole fruit box, 12+ big bunches for $30.00.) i just washed it and then steamed it for 3-4 minutes and it was bit chewy which i liked . this has so much good stuff in it and its an important parts of dr terry wahls anti ms diet. she went from being in a special wheelschiar to riding 18 miles 9 months later

    people talk all about the good in food , but dont get it because we cook and poroicess it too much and get a shadow of what we thought we were getting.
