  1. Henry George's "Progress and Poverty" is timeless wisdom. Needs updating to include analysis of credit and its hopeful reform, but a land value tax in place of all other taxation is the answer.

  2. why not force people reduce the hours they work and not be able to pass wealth onto children and to be forced to spend it that would equalise things. Im from a very poor area and although grew up in UK when I had to work from 16 I did 7 days a week, we were hard hit again in 20s and we slept on the floor and had no heating in house and because these laws were not in place I worked 100 hour weeks and retired at 34. Now I own 8 houses in UK, 3 in Bulgaria and 1 in China. Did I mentioned the longest I had without one day off is 4 YEARS,

  3. These people have probably never worked a day in their life, they capitalized on other people's hard work that's it. There will be a day when the poor eat the rich.

  4. At 6 minutes 20 seconds the security guard earns 2000 euros per month. I studied in Portugal for 2 years and the workers salary was less than 1000 euros in the hotels. One guy told me he earns 850 euros as a cook but if he was in Italy he'd be earning 1850 euros. I am Talking about people that went and got an education. I am going back to Europe to finish my studies and afterwards i wanna remain and work there. I don't want to leave Africa and go to Europe to earn peanuts. Which European countries pay well for skilled workers?

  5. Its the same for people everywhere – it shows the school system have failed us half of us are divorced and it did not teach us the basics of how to save money, invest money and make money. Plus they don't teach us that we can't save ourselves to riches, In australia we are renting where we want to live ie close to work and buy interstate or places where we can afford – accumulate a few investment properties and once the prices escalate sell it and buy back into bigger cities like Sydney and Melbourne – the rest of the world should learn this technique, Rather that just give up and rent, start by reading a book like Rich dad Poor dad.

  6. I have total respect for any self-made millionaire. They can earn as much as they want. Who I don’t have respect for are CEOs of companies (especially those taking millions per year) who didn’t take the risk and landed their job just like any employee.

As for the self-made millionaire, he genuinely seems to care for his employees and their salaries. Well done. He will go even further.

  7. A fellow had the answer to these problems 80 years ago, but he was attacked by the powers-that-be out of the City of London ("The Square Mile") and NYC.

  8. I think that it will take a rebellion to reign in the runaway oligarchs and corrupt government. Sadly. The bottom 90% have made concessions while the top 10% especially that 1% have benefited from said concessions is whats going to ignite the rage. The upperclass are already and overwhelmingly rich but have continued to put losses on the shoulders of their employees by cut backs, increasing productivity, denial of health benefits, wage freezes and rollbacks all whilst reporting record breaking profit over and over again. They have developed a taste for growth at any cost and for that they will pay a price, maybe even the ultimate price. Everybody has become less confident, more stressed, and disillusioned with the system. Its a recipe for total meltdown. People debate the cause of the dark ages, but, I think we know what happened and whats to come if we dont come together and transcend this insatiable desire for more. Every man woman and child in our beloved west should have the opportunity to own a home and have fair wages that are willing to be part of the system and walk the line. The quality of life has gone down from the last generation even with all the modern technology, proving technology alone will save no one. Man can only save humanity.

  9. The whole premise of addressing the problem we have as "inequality" it is a misleading term that eludes to the notion we have to be equal in wealth. The reality is you cannot make wealth equal. The solution is not to set the rules to eforce wealth distribution. The problem I see is our governments have betrayed the people and sided with shady millionaires who use underhanded tactics to extract more wealth when its not there or needed. If we can set the rules so our middleclass can thrive and have upward mobility again we will enter a golden age. Edit I have no ill will for a person because they are ultra wealthy the same as I have no ill will towards a poor person for that is just a set of circumstances that may or may not elude to a person's behavior. I only have disdain for people who do horrible things to others rich or poor, both should be dealt with harshly by our justice systems but even the justice scales weigh in the favor of the uber rich

  10. inequality has become the same all across the world…. European are afraid to this concept but surely and slowly we will conviced that our poverty is nothing compared to others ….and we will accept it as a normal thing…so much wealth and its kept for such a little part of the people!!! it's time we , the people , the majority say it is enough!!! ho yeah I forgot we have no say cause we are not in democratie anymore!!!

  11. All we can do about the inequality in the world is complaining. Those who are negatively affected do not have the power to change and those who are positively affected will do nothing to change the current state.

  12. 19:23
    "eat the rich"
This is not just in Germany, it's a sentiment spreading across the world with 2,000+ billionaires (400 in the USA) amassing more and more wealth at the expense of everyone else, it is no surprise to see Socialism is becoming more popular over crony exploitative capitalism.

  13. We have something similar to that here in America. The only thing people can really do is have everyone voluntarily ditch places like that and move somewhere else but that will never happen because every person who is able to afford it would pay for it. Sadly most government does not protect their people from giant companies and investors buying up land and forcing a price jump on the people.

  14. AGAIN THERE IS AND WILL NEVER BE A THING CALLED "SELF MADE" NOBODY GOT WERE THEY ARE WITHOUT HELP FROM OTHERS. Yes "YOU" had the ambition and dream but you didn't make everything happen.

  15. Sort of amazing how quickly you get ahead once you break out of the debt cycle. Never realized just how far I am ahead of so many with what may not seem like a lot in the long run.

  16. This rich people don't bother me at all I still have to get to do my work.I have to grow my own vegetables and pay for everything. This rich people don't have any use for me.I live my life they live their life.Rich people need poor people whereas I don't need anybody.I just need is my good health.and I can have a peaceful life.I find very funny when so call rich people feel they have to show off
