Champs! What should we discuss next?! What would you love to see a video about?
Sounds amazing!
Paul – 6:10. You need to make a video on this blues/chet atkins style playing. I'M BEGGING YOU.
+5
Would love to see this as a much slower/longer diminished video, please sir!!!!
What program are you using to show the tabs/notes? Does it show beats per measure and lyrics?
Always learn very easy thanks to you
Crystal clear, thank you.
voice leading would continue nicely…….glad you had fun at Norman's
Thanks! from the bottom of my heart
You're a great teacher Paul, thanks!
Dude, I want to learn all this shit – but you left me behind fast in that video! It's one thing to shred pentatonics all over the neck, but to know all chords and diminisheds and where to resolve… that's much, much harder!! I need lotsa time and lotsa exposure for all this to sink into my old brain (42). See the yard thing with online learning is that I won't get any follow-up to this. So it won't sink in and stay in. … Don't know what the answer is to that…
I don't even play guitar but I'm still enjoying this
Thank you very much! This was very interesting and useful.
0:36 hmmmmmm that was SWEET!
Awesome! Thanks for the video!
Great Lesson!…
Conor McGregor
1:52 look at his face when the guitar hit something though lol
Just seen your video to normans guitars, very cool paul im glad you were able to have that experience we take that for granted here in the states…love your videos and lessons brother, much love from detroit mi…
Thanks Paul!!!!
I love this guy. He plays wonderfully, and explains it elegantly as well.
I’m hearing blackbird 👍😎
what can i do with 4 chords in different ways and styles
Diminished Scales
Ain’t no mountain high enough uses diminished
I like using diminished chords to "jazz up" my blues using it like you show hear to move between chords with a walking bass line, or use them as arpeggios the same way while improvising.
I'm British, I'm reserved, I'm in my 40s and I don't generally comment on YouTube videos (bar my son using my laptop and leaving comments on Teen Titans). But… Paul your teaching is beautiful. So knowledgeable and passionate. Yeah, you're a bit of know it all but in a nice way!
Deep River Blues! Took me back to my childhood, learning from my dad. Thanks for the good memories 🙂
Erudite as ever. Now show us something similar using the Augmented Cord.😋😋😋
Best Chord in the world
Now I'm ready for one on augmented chords!
Cool stuff!
This is cool! 🤘🌍✌️
Fantastic ! Thank you so much for doing this video on this topic
Subscribed. I enjoy watching, listening, and learning from you Paul, despite your good singing.
Fun to watch, but I still don't really understand any of this or know how to use it. Reserved for my "fake Jazz" bluffing with one shape up every 3 frets.
I guess I'm just too dim….
Hey Paul! Can I have one of your guitar's. Acoustic guitar,I love playing guitar but I don't even have one I'm just borrowing guitar from my friends
Hei Paul. I'm an intermediate guitar player and I've watched your video. I found it a bit confusing at first. What I think is missing is a DISCLAIMER: do not confuse this chords with the VII degree- chord that is also diminished cuz' that one is a bit different. It doesn't have 3 minor thirds but 2 and one major (to get the 7th note). I had to understand why this shapes don't match the ones I knew already to be diminished 7's. Great video though. Cheers!
You're awesome mate. Just got to a new level of guitaring. Showing how and where to use this chord in relation to various other chords as well as the three inversions were the best.
Haha! Your voice sounded nice!
Just started taking my playing seriously again. Your videos help keep me motivated. Thanks bro 🙂
Love your videos is it better to practice scales or anything technical or is it better to learn songs and what songs do you recommend to progress properly
"Resolution" what a word my friend…
Awesomely well done good man! Loved it!
