You should sell this template! I would buy one off you. Just name the price

My man's on day rate
Nice job sir, I like it!
if that's a joint I made a lot, I'd probably make a cutter template on the side of a spade bit with the end supported with a dowel in a bearing, and use that with a slide to make the other side as easy as the holes.
What a nice joint! I can see it being a decorative addition to a coffee table or something similar. Maybe even a drawer?
Is it bad that I read that as ‘the kidnap joint’? 😅
Look up Fast Joint systems. They make a jig for these as well as other fancy dovetail joints. Some include dog-bone, spade, bowtie, and lots of others.
They are quite beatiful but also very labor intensive… Well done. Very educational and entertaining,
Bruh
That was fantastic!!
Great broad range of skills quality. Thanks for the video🇬🇧
Your videos are top notch! Well done!
Does anyone of you clever woodworker know what the blue “stuff” is that he painted on the drill bit before ‘heating the bit? I guess I.need to know both the “what” and the
why” it was added?? If you able this question too another website where the were some metalworkers, I would be most grateful
. Thanks
That's a lot of freaking work. Wouldn't it be easier to build one of those old machines from the 1800's?
This video is mind blowing. I am thoroughly impressed.
Detail king
Simply brilliant!
Ótima capacidade parabéns nota 1000
Amazing, it seemed impossible to make such joints and yet here he goes!
Sensational stuff, Pask….the componenets of that jig look daunting…but it's a beautiful finish. I have a couple of cheap 19mm spade bits that I can experiment upon to make the cutter….here goes nothing !! ;D Excellent project 🙂
A true chuck on your drill press might improve your cut too.
Very impressive, but why??? lol
That is a hell of a joint!!! And I really like the music my friend!!! Thanks for that 👍👍👍
Very cool and strong joint!!
Looks very nice I like it.👍 But is it easier to do and as strong as regular dove tails?
Waaaaaaaayyyy too much work
Thought you said Markers Mark not Makers Mob.
Amazing work and the finished product looks very unique.
19:12 Name that tune: “William Tell Overture”! 😎
This all seems very pedantic. Good job!
The most unprofitable joint known to man
could probably do this with a cnc
Very clever, impressive.
Pretty cool joint will have to have a play to make this … When ive done all the other things i want to do
lovely but way too complicated for me
That is one of the most aesthetically pleasing joins I've ever seen!
these kinda joints might be fun to 3d print
Nicely done!
Great job sir. U have some great skills
i bet if you cut the joint at a 45 degree once asembled it would make for a truly unique look
You are painstakingly replicating by hand a joint that was created for mass production by machinery. I do like how they look. Great work!
Beautiful work and so satisfying, I love watching this whole process, thanks for the video:)
A very nice video. Lots of good information. But I keep getting the feeling that everything that this fella went through is exactly why you see Dovetail joints everywhere and not Knapp Joints! ; )
Very clever – love your work!
what router bit did you use please and size
As Always, Clever as Hell ! 👍🏼
I don’t know how I got here?! But this was fascinating.
I’d never do this, have the talent, skills, patience or tools but I still watched the whole thing 😂
