Who else is raging
Damn I want this computer exactly I mean I might get a asus z390 mobo and a asus 2080ti or fe version and prolly not a 10tb storage lol mayne a 1tb Samsung evo nvme and a 2 or 3 tb ssd
He looks like White Will Smith
Hey all, I know this video is older now, but I just recently got the parts for my pc. I have the rog maximum xi hero Wi-Fi motherboard and the i9-9900k. When I bring the retention arm down to install the cpu, there's a lot of creaking coming from the either the socket or the mobo itself, I can't tell which. The cpu is lined up correctly. Is this normal for brand new out of the box components?
Does anyone else hate that plastic bag in the background..
Where'd u get that screw driver the power one
you didnt put enough thermal paste, the psu is back to front, the ram is in the wrong way and you didnt screw the cpu cooler on correctly. i know this becuase i have learnt how to do it the correct way from the verge.
just saying.
The ram look like him )) same hair color same hoodie lol
Not specific when describing the cable that must be installed on the motherboard..
What screwdriver is he using?
How to Build a pc spends 3k + on all the parts
I cant afford to follow this guide
Thank You JayzTwoCents for walking me through my first PC Build! This made things simple and easy to understand. This is my first comment on any video ever because this was that helpful! 10/10
21:34 that stuff just spawned right there!! 😯😯
beginners guide: touches the gild contacts on the CPU
(Im sorry for my bad english in advance) After about i build my first own PC and just wanted to thank this channel and some others for the Tips and Examples. It helped me deciding on parts and how tow assemble them. It was kinda hart so overall, but after collecting parts for about a year and now putting them together it feels great. Everything runs smoothly and im just happy. So keep on making good content and to have fun at what you do. Greetings from Berlin
Everyone talking about the components of the Pc…
Me: where do I get such a fancy screwdriver like that?
22:38 lollolol what kind of bios is that? my bios is just some white text on black background?
Also, how did you connect the monitor? That motherboard doesn't have any hdmi or display ports. Did you use usb or something? (impossible)
How's the airflow in the silent base 801? I've heard the 601 is real bad. I understand there's a bit of thermal compromise for acoustics, but is the airflow really that bad?
You touched the golden pins on the cpu and touch the pcb part of the motherboard . That's not recommended
how to build a computer
spend total of your budget on a MOBO which can power a luna car center
You literally skipped the only part I’m watching this video for, plugging in the MSI rtx 2080ti power cables. It has 2 8 pins and one 6 pins how did you do that and how many cables did you need. Thanks for not showing that up
Wtf does this rig cost ? 10k ?? For 10k that shit better come with a R2D2 unit that builds the shit to perfection. And I want it to make me hot pockets and iced tea !
It’s funny how people are focusing on the components themselves, “Oh beginner guide with a 10TB HDD and a z390 godlike…”. FFS he wasn’t recommending anything for any budget, he was simply doing a build for his channel and used it as a demonstration…. Wether it’s a $500 or a $5000 build, the parts are put together the same way….
Jay,
This video is what inspired me to build my first computer. I have been so amazed by how computers work since I was little, and as I grew older I only found out how much more there was to them. This was one of my first videos about PC building that I watched. I so appreciate you as a YouTuber, for all the great PC info, recommendations, and humor that your channel provides. Thank you for inspiring me to build my very own machine. To this date, building my computer has been one of the best experiences of my life.
Once again, Thank you.
My Computer: (* designates components that are the same as the ones used in this video, + designates components that are similar to the ones used in this video)
*Intel Core i9 9900K CPU
*MSI MEG Z390 Godlike Motherboard
+MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Gaming Z GPU
+Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 32GB 3000MHz RAM
Samsung 970 Pro 512GB M.2 SSD
+SeaGate Barracuda 4TB HDD
+Corsair AX850 850W 80+ Titanium (I did not use a custom cable set, like you did)
Corsair H100i Pro 240mm AIO
3x Corsair ML120 fans, 2x Corsair ML120 RGB fans, 1x Corsair ML140 fan (hooked up to a Corsair RGB hub and Commander Pro)
*be quiet! Silent Base 801 Window (mine was Silver color)
I'm basing my build off this video. I bought the Kracken X72, the bequite case , the RGB Lights and 3 Memory storage options. Dont have money to buy the fancy mobo so I'm going with a MSI mobo and Ryzen 9 3900x with a Radeon RX XT 5700 (Sapphire)
Mate you forgot to mention that you need a desk…………..useless.
@JayzTwoCents if you have more than one NVME, doesn’t it matter which slot you put it in?
Step one. Rtx Titian
Step 2: intel Xeon gold cpu
Step 4. 6 terabyte nvme. Single bit storage
Step 5. 64 gigabytes of solid gold ddr4 4000 memory.
Step 6. 650000 watt power supply.
Step 7. Get an electrician to hook up a 220 volt outlet to your room.
Step 8. Go bankrupt
Instructions unclear…
Penis ended up in microwave
My MKII 950W power supply only has one 8 pin (4+4) cpu power connector. Your power supply had 2, z390 godlike mobo manual recommends 8 pin and a 4 pin, can I get by with just one 8 pin or do I have to buy a new power supply?
Well, you can build this PC or buy a Chevrolet Sonic xD, its up to you.
But seriously, I was thinking about if an Aorus Pro Wifi was even necessary and this guy with his beginner guide is installing a Z390 Godlike; man, our lives already suck, that wasnt necessary at all xD, I just wanted to arrange my cables properly not to feel pain in my heart.
"beginers guide"
2080 ti
z390 godlike
10tb hdd
It prob didn't exist when this video was made but NVMe4 ssds on pcie 4.0 are are going to be the new norm cause its almost doubles the speed of nvme drives. I know those speeds are probably overkill but just master race things. xD
By jayz standards this wasnt a very good build guide

Ahhhh
May I know how does one decide if the motherboard and stuff can fit in the case? Or are the sizes for the things required standardised? 🙂
What a sarcastic flex video
I hate rich cats
As a new builder i wont be having 10000$ worth pc to play around
What am I doing wrong? Followed all the steps, but my PC doesn't boot without the Ram.
50years ago (1960s) 10tb would have costed ten's of trillions of dollars and would have been the size of an ice breaker oil tanker ship!
Funny that I run into this video after I bought all of my parts for my new build… Almost the same list, but I'm gonna run dual M.2 NVMEs, no SSD, and dual HDDs into a be quiet Dark Base PRO ver2 case.
Unfortunately, I tried to save a little money and bought a "refurb" Z390 Godlike board, and discovered why it was sent back… PCIe Slot #1 was bent, and my build is now on hold, because I am not going to keep building out a damaged board! Now I'm stuck waiting on a claim with the online retailer now..
