  1. The trouble is GM itself. It closed its Australian manufacturing the Holden and now killed the Holden brand due to the fact no one was buying the crap GM were selling from overseas. Holden Australia was a sales success selling in markets around the world and could have had higher sales if GM America were so afraid of the Australian product. It was a better car than what America was producing. GM can suffer now.

  2. Requote:
    Lunch Time:
Japanese: "I gotta stay and make my quality the best."
European: "Let's stay over and do the best as humanly possible."
    American: "Lunch time. F;&# that."

  3. GM … gave up for no reason… Mrs Barra.. volume cars were great… but strategy failed as NAV had no interest… Chevrolet was much higher reputation than Opel… GM killed SAAB… left behind their customers since 2012… this is just ignorance of leaders….

  4. Tbh I wont be buying Vauxhalls because i cant stand PSA products… they would've been better trying to make Chevrolet a premium brand in Europe … and kept Opel and vauxhall as the standard cars

  5. Europeans do their homework when purchasing vehicles, in Europe priority #1 is reliability (GM lacks reliability) #2 fuel economy (GM lacks fuel economy though not as badly as reliability).

GM vehicles are very unreliable and only thing that keeps the company going is old GM loyalist customer base which is shrinking and US customers who does not do much research prior to purchase.

  6. GM future eco cars only.May say ecology and traffic jam even capital cities makes us all crazy and think better use bike.Uncontrolled free sale car same like free dogs to streets without any purpose then will clean or walk very unpleasant ..

  7. hundreds of auto makers are fighing to stay alive, not just GM that's the way it is. millions of folks have forgotton that Chrysler too was going belly up in the early 80s look it up if you don't believe ha ha.

  8. I can answer this question without even watch this video, details. European cars are designed to take from one point to another win comfort. Even small sedan are specific to details comparing to Americans cars. That explain why Tesla is doing well

  9. Part of the American car problems is, the cars are built with so much complicated technologies, that not even independent mechanics can fix them. These cars are built
in such a way that ONLY DEALERS can service them. The best example of a good car is the original Volkswagon. High quality, reliable, cheap, easy to repair. Todays' American cars are nothing but JUNK on wheels. No wonder GM cars are not sold in Europe. New York, 3/4/2020

  10. GM has become good at failing everywhere. Europe, Australia and even North America- where their market share continues to decline. Their only bright spot is China- where the customers are new to the concept of quality and reliability.
