    The Italian politicians who made this agreement with Libya was not from the right, but from the "left" party (partito democratico) with the leader Paolo Gentiloni, now new member of the EU commission.

    After with the new government of Conte and Salvini with less incentive to arrive to Italy fewer did try to pass through the sea and there was less people dying in the azure main! Here we have the dilemma of Max Weber between Gesinnungsethik and Verantwortungsethik , between moral precept and responsability. A question that cannot be solved with a manichean mentality.

    The solution is just one, a big and generous development project with billions of investment in Africa. This would be much more admired then the egagment to run in the space to other planets. The Western has all the means an we can contribute to rescue the African continent, and thus the bitter destiny of emigration will stop very soon.

    Here the responsibility is surly not only European but in first line also American. What is doing the leading power of the world for the development of Africa, will ask future generations when they will judge about the history of the US Hegemony.

    Has the Western a vision of rapid and foundamental development of Africa? Have some economist a coherent advise for such a grand design? If not why? (Is mirgration a wanted goal as not few scared people suspect in Europe? Pope Francis will even agree on this point.)

    Probably the Western will let this task to China … (70岁周年快乐 !)
