28:48 I wish more corporate people watched this. I've endured many corporate presentations that had powerpoints with fancy schmancy verbose slides – which really isn't at all necessary. I could have printed the presentation and skipped the meeting.

The way the content of what he is saying is demonstrated by the way he delivers that same content is pure beauty.
I dont think you should ask students to close their laptop. If your a good speaker and what your saying is relevant, then the students will do it anyway. If not then you make them endure a boring 60 minutes and they will resent you. He gets away with it because he is a good speaker, most lecturers dont.

First MIT class I where actually understood everything the instructor said.
I didn't got to go to college but, he reminds me of a very good teacher of mine in early schooling. And thats the best thing I can find on the internet.

Was anyone else annoyed when he said that was an arch? Arches end in semicircles! If they didn't, they'd collapse in the center too easily!
And earlier my teacher said you should always end your talk by saying Thank You. I also thought the same but thanks to this man who told me how to end a talk.
That was really a brilliant lecture from which I learned a lot.
