I used to have some sense of smell back when this video was made.
However, thanks to my mother's cigarette addiction, its pretty much gone. The few things i occasionally can smell is sewage when its being pumped away, and sometimes food i didnt had in months or even years.

I've lived with anosmia for years since I had brain surgery as a kid. Really makes me wonder if the receptors in my nose are still being replaced/if my body still has the capacity to synthesize new ones. Video really makes me wish I smelled more things when I was younger haha

Why can we smell solid objects? Like that "New car smell" or the smell of hard wood. These are solid and not releasing any weight into the world around them so what is happening to allow me to smell it?
