The men in the audience ( who were invisible/ irrelevant to Arianna )
we're no doubt sitting there wondering –
What on earth is propelling those pesky icebergs
that keep hitting all these hapless Type A women?
I wanted even more inspiration than I got from Matthew Walker on the subject of sleep. I was hoping for a pep talk from a literary giant in this video. I was disappointed.
For me, sleep is very important. I usually sleep 7-8 hours a day. Without sleep, a person will not long concentrate his attention on something.
I watch this video at 2:00
That’s a interesting opinion.lt’s very important for modern people. After l was watching this,l want to know more benefits of sleeping.

This was.. not a good Ted talk. Fabulous app sent me to an opinion centered TED talk. It isn't sleep being beneficial that was the opinion, it was this fact being backed up by needless opinion about men & women. This was a waste.
Thank you Ms. Huffington. Your book Thrive is circulated in our coworking space and our Co-Founder Amy King cites it as one of the key ideas that inspired her to launch GoodWork!
Arianna is a super trooper and TED is such an important platform for sharing important things!
I so believe in this – lack of sleep is the main health hazard to the western world and it really upsets me when people brag about their lack of sleep. Once you've crashed a few times, had a baby and gone through some emotional ups and downs, sleep is the most reliable medicine to keep you on your feet 💕
WHAT THE? really Huffington?
I have met researchers, scientists and doctors about my sleep, so here is a my 5 minute shot to become a comedian?!?!?!?!?
Brilliant
LOL, white male who finds this hilarious
Yes.! The benefits of sleep could not be stressed enough.
Wanted to come and hear some ideas about how to fall asleep,………….what I got was an insecure woman and a lecture on my masculinity -_-
darn feminists
So sleeping is achieving success …
"I'm a woman, I'm considered inferior to men. Know how I'm going to fix it? I'll sleep!!!"
Top stupid argument: thanks for making chauvinism easier, Arianna; that's all women needed.
BRA-VO!
as I watch this, at 11:25 pm
When reading comments actually benefits you
Even though I generally like Arianna Huffington I must admit her TED talk is far from informative. She talks about her own personal experience then advises others to do the same. Anyone can talk about their own personal experiences but I am sure TED decided to give her a talk since she is famous.
If you want to hear TED talks on sleep that have real substance given by experts in the field I can suggest three:
1. https://www.ted.com/talks/russell_foster_why_do_we_sleep
2. https://www.ted.com/talks/jessa_gamble_how_to_sleep
3. https://www.ted.com/talks/jeff_iliff_one_more_reason_to_get_a_good_night_s_sleep
cool
Skip to the next Ted talk. This is garbage. Thank me later.
I like how Arianna shares her own story about not getting enough sleep. I agree that if you do not get enough sleep, you will become irritable and the next day won't go well. She reminds us something that many people know but ignore all the time. People think just getting a few hours of sleep is fine but it is not good for your body and could eventually become ill from it. I agree that we all need to get enough sleep so we enjoy our lives and stop complaining about not sleeping when we are the ones controlling it.
This videos was funny and Interesting🤔🙂👍👌
奇怪的言論,睡眠很重要沒錯,但是講者的言論完全沒辦法支撐她的論點,完全是屁話,就這個影片來說。
Right, brunch. Why stay in on a Sunday?
52 doĺlars for eggs.. Now you're thinking. – Bill Burr.
What made her rich is a bit of luck and being at the right place at the right time.
Great video ;; Im doing for homework… in Korea TED`s are great but too boring… sad ㅠㅠ
i'm here for Fabulous
Huffy Huffington for prez 2020 to 2028! She is soooo amazing and compassionate!
