در انسان تعادل خوبی بین میزان مصرف انرژی و هزینه انرژی وجود دارد.
میزان مصرف انرژی به صورت غذا است و هزینه انرژی به صورت میزان متابولیک پایه و فعالیت بدنی است.
تفاوت بین مصرف انرژی و هزینه انرژی ، تراز انرژی خالص است. اگر میزان مصرف بیش از هزینه باشد ، یک تراز انرژی مثبت خالص رخ می دهد.
هزینه انرژی به عوامل مختلفی بستگی دارد.
این شامل شروع وزن بدن ، میزان متابولیک پایه و فعالیت بدنی است.
با توجه به فعالیت بدنی ، چندین متغیر اصلی شامل فراوانی ، شدت ، مدت زمان و نوع فعالیت انجام شده وجود دارد.

با حفظ همان شدت و مدت زمان پیاده روی بدون ایجاد تغییر در رژیم غذایی (مصرف انرژی) ، مرد وارد مرحله نگهداری وزن می شود.
این با بدست آوردن وزن کمی مشخص می شود.
حفظ وزن نتیجه تعادل انرژی است که در بدن ایجاد می شود ، جایی که مصرف انرژی اساساً با هزینه انرژی برابر است.
اگر تغییری در ترازوی انرژی ایجاد نشود ، تغییری در وزن ایجاد نمی شود.
برای پایان دادن به فلات کاهش وزن چه باید کرد؟
گزینه های مختلفی برای حفظ تعادل انرژی منفی خالص وجود دارد. این یا کاهش مصرف انرژی یا افزایش هزینه انرژی است.
گزینه ها عبارتند از: محدود کردن کالری بیشتر یا افزایش فرکانس ، یا شدت یا مدت زمان تمرین.
به طور خلاصه ، فلات کاهش وزن انتظار می رود و تنها با ادامه ورزش و تعادل انرژی منفی خالص به پایان می رسد.

I was 245lbs and chubby. I dedicated my time to jogging and increasing to running all in 3 months Monday through sataurday ans sometimes Sundays for 2 hours and I lost 90lbs it was very crazy because I lost 30lbs per week but also during my goal to lose that much weight I only had salads with chicken, fish, beans, etc.. No juice, no sugars, I was eating 100% healthy and sometimes I would feel so hungry because on average I was drinking 240 oz of water per day… I dropped down so much weight people thought I was becoming ill. I dropped down to 155lbs and I looked so unhealthy and skinny. I realized hard work and dedication paid off but me being 6ft tall and only weigh 155lbs was not healthy. So it's very possible to lose up to 90lbs in only 3 months but I think I over did it. My ideal weight is 190lbs so I went from running 2 hours a day to using the treadmill for only 25 mins sprinting at 9mph just 3-4 times per week and I spent 1 hour lifting weights and drinking lost of protein shakes and eating more to gain the weight back but in muscle form which I did. Now I'm 188lbs, fit and no fat at all. I love how I can eat anything and still not get any fat because I do fast sprints and lift heavy weights now and never been in better shape. It took me three months to go back up to 190lbs but without the added fat, just pure muscle. Story of my life.

People, stop trying to discredit exercise and how essential it is and just how much it aids weight loss. A sedentary person could burn a thousand less calories per day than an active person. Its way easier to eat 2000 cals per day and exercise than eat 1000 calories and not exercise at all. Not only is it good for weight loss but its good for your heart and its good for your muscles. So dont be lazy
Lifting weights with cardio does in fact make a big difference
It is so much more complicated than that. We aren’t furnaces. The composition of food and the type of exercise matter.
The reason kids these days are so overweight is because they spend so much time studying, doing homework, and going to school that they don’t have time or energy to exercise. Ugh.

For those who give up after trying a new diet/exercise consistently don’t give up you can have some bumps in the road but it’s okay if you keep trying I have tried again and again and again and this time it became easier somehow and each time a try again the longer I can keep it going 🥴

My experience with platough s has been to stagger exercising and diet to keep the body working to use body fat for energy

Exercising is fun though. Love it. I won't sit around starving myself and feeling weak, when I know healthy food gives me energy that can get me strong inside and out and feeling fit. Swap that donut for a bowl of full fat Greek yogurt with a banana clean out the gut and colon, and use the energy to get fit.

A calorie is not a calorie and all foods are not the same. Why is it that 300 calories of fruit (let’s say bananas 🍌) is healthier for you than a 300 calorie donut? Put down the pastries, eat more Whole Foods, and you’ll see that you can bring down your body fat percentage while being satisfied by your meals. If you keep eating sugary products then it will be hard to put those down. Sugar is a drug, stop being blind to it.

Fitness question: I'm just trying to lose weight right now, I don't care about building muscle yet so I am doing 100% cardio at the gym. I am only eating 1200 calories a day and pushing myself to burn a minimum 500 calories each day at the gym. I actually push myself so hard I feel sick and weak, is this a sensible way to lose weight? I weigh 100kg and would like to get down to 85kg again

My girlfriend is looking to lose weight and she found this review about these weight loss supplements on leptitox.buzz but I wanted to do some more research to see if it's the best solution to help her with what she wants. It’s not calories in and calories out. It’s about hormones, especially insulin. Smh
I don't believe the calorie model. When I use the exercise bike at my gym for 30 minutes, I lose so much weight that day, even though the bike says I only spend 250 calories doing that. Maybe by body continues spending calories even after I stop using the bike, for balancing muscle energy and what ever chemical levels, and that's why I lose so much weight for just using it for 30 minutes.
Has anyone else noticed this? Like I don't lose anything from walking, no matter how long I walk – could be 30 minutes or two hours and my weight is the same the next morning, however though, when I use the exercise bike, I lose like 1 cm from my waist every day I do it.
If you haven't tried this you must – this is unreal.

2) Increase the frequency of the exercise.
3) Increase the intensity of the exercise.
4) Increase the duration of the exercise.
Maintain a Negative Net Energy Balance – Expend/Burn More Calories than you are consuming.
Also, please do not have a sudden cut in food intake. Your body will go into survival mode and take all available fat from consumables as it knows that you are going to need it. Instead, do;
Carb Cycling: The way I like to do it:
1) 2 Days Of Low Carb Intake with higher Fat Intake (Not Donuts and Candy, more of fruits and nuts).
2) 2 Days of Medium Carb intake with a lower fat intake (Nothing over the top, just maybe a meal consisting of carbs with a fruit or two).
3) 2 Days Of High Carb Intake (2+ Meals Of High-Density Carb Foods such as Pasta, bread, etc and this time be very careful of fat intake as you could increase the number of calories than the number of calories being burned.)
4) Have a Cheat Day to relieve your body from the monotony and have anything you like, but don't go over the top. Enjoy in limits.
TLDR Carb Cycling;
Have 2 Days of low carb intake.
Have 2 days of medium carb intake.
Have 2 days of high carb intake.
Have 1 cheat day.

All I know is I exercise 270-360 minutes a week and can burn up to 2.2 pounds per day and can gain all or most of it back, depending on how hungry I am after I exercise.
I lost 20 kgs in liken 4 months and now I’ve been the same weight for like 6 months
weight loss is tied to insulin. When insulin is high, one cannot burn fat. When insulin is low, your body can then finally tap into fat stores . It takes about 13 hrs before your insulin gets low enough to start to get into a fat burning state. This is why obesity is an epidemic in America. We are encouraged to eat multiple times a day throughout the whole day. Insulin is a fat storing hormone and will be elevated with any intake of calories. Even healthy, nutritious food will still stimulate insulin. This is why I lost 50 lbs by intermittent fasting this past year. So did my husband. It was shockingly easy to get used to. It maybe took about 3 to 4 weeks to become comfortable to restrict eating time to only eating from noon to 6P.M. After that, I was not hungry and now I do one meal a day (OMAD) and it's still so easy for me. Doctors and nurses don't explain this . There are a ton of videos about intermittent fasting that can explain the science of it much better than I can. But , I could not lose weight until I finally realized that insulin must remain low enough for long enough before the body starts to tap into stored body fats. Get educated. You can save yourself and loved ones from the ravages of obesity related diseases.
