25. Going ghetto tubeless I can get the tires to set first try with all five bikes, I got new tires and they wouldn’t set even with a compressor. After trying everything I greased the tire and that created a seal enough for the tire to set. They do this for tractors and it worked for me perfectly as a last resort. You miss the satisfaction of the tire pop into place tho.

28. Another hack of the multitool : You can actually add your keys to it (home, bikelock etc). Its cheaper than a keysmart and works just as well but with more tools 😉 you might have to make the hole in the key a bit bigger, but that's easy.

29. I have an issue with using a precision tool like my shock pump as a slide hammer. All that bashing around is a good way to ruin the accuracy of the dial indicator. Otherwise good hacks

30. 29er tube for all wheel sizes – possibly the most useful tip I've ever seen (maybe cause my family runs 3 wheel sizes…). Cheers Seth for the awesome vids

31. If you haven't a bottom bracket tool, you can only have to put a shrink tube on your pipe wrench, so you don't get any scratches

32. Stretching a 26" tube into a 27.5 or 29er is better than going the reverse. It also takes up less space.

    Another "hack" that I noticed you don't do is to run your front brake line inside your forks so that if you crash it doesn't get torn off as easily

35. Seth if you can find shower caps they're great to put over your rotors while traveling, lubing, and overall trying to avoid contaminating your brake rotors.

36. Seth another hack you can use, is when ever you go to a gas station for air, you can ask the gas station attendant to turn on the air, because at least in the US, they have to.

37. You can make chain stay protected by cutting old grips in half and securing it with tape
