18. ​ Shows like BGT are to give the common people a chance at fame. If it was for people who already were celebrities then this show would just be people like Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Ed Sheeran and Beyonce singing on the stage and there would be no reason to let folks who have no fame background in the show.

    That being said, some people like Berywam do manage to get in the show because, though they already have a name for themselves, their fame only extends to a specific genre and they come on this show to expand the reach of their fame. Thus this show proves to be strict upon them because it would be unfair to treat them like how other normal contestants are treated.

    It isn't any weird bias, it's just being fair.
