4. parking company's here use SMS to send out passwords to there app you use when pay for parking. in the app you have your credit card information….. and the biggest phone company uses SMS as auth for login to there admin systems…. sadly used a lot still.

   and regarding 5G you also have Ericsson making 5g equipment.
