1. Apple updated their iPad Pro line and introduced a new keyboard and trackpad stand accessory. Are they bridging the gap between laptop and tablet?

2. I honestly don’t get it why reviewers moan about how the iPad needs a trackpad and be more like a traditional computer. Just buy a traditional computer. The strength of the iPad is that it’s basically just a slab.

   Not everyone needs an iPad. My worry is that they are making this more like a laptop and the apps will be more like desktop apps. My fave apps like procreate, the iOS affinity products, puddy 3D, spiel reel are all designed with touch in mind, and made me forget about Adobe, based on pure user experience. I really hope Apple try to steer clear of morphing the iPad into a regular laptop that already exists.

5. Buy the New 2020 IPad Pro…the 2018 iPad Pro has an ancient Processor…The A12x can Only handle Watching Movies, Maybe Email, and Very Casual Internet Browsing. Maybe casual 1080p video editing but that’s it. The A12x in the 2018 IPad Pro is Ancient and out of Date don’t buy it…it should be retired and discontinued.

6. They just need to fix the file system on the iPad then it could be a true computer. The future is all about Apps. There is software on ios that is better then Mac and PC.

21. You are right. If you are concerned it costs premium laptop money. Buy a nice laptop. It just keep using the perfectly decent one you are currently using.

23. No it's not the computer anyone should get. You can get a windows 2-in-1 or Chromebook for so much less. The iPad including this one is the worse value. There is no reason to get any of the new or old Apple products. Most people have figured this out which is why Apple has such a small market share in everything.

27. What is a computer ?
    Can I code on it? Does it have a built in terminal ? Can I run iTerm on it ?
    If any of these question is no then I am afraid it's not a computer, it's still an iPad and I have to stick to my Unix machine MacBook Pro.

31. According to the Apple web site the new keyboard will work with your existing iPad (2018 iPad Pro). No need to purchase a new iPad to use the keyboard/trackpad.
