5. Bravo Thomas, very good review of the brand new Porsche 911 turbo. Beside the most important car magazines you are one of the few to get a testdrive.

6. I've noticed that in Canada the speed limits are much lower than yours, but only loosely adhered to. I wonder how many Canadian drivers would trade your system for ours, knowing we could drive 200Km/H, but not to cruise 20Km/H over the posted limits without getting a ticket.

7. Love the twisty roads and high speed run. Kind of racy for the internets most well mannered car reviewer.

8. why cant we have comparisons by owners INSTEAD of lets have some fun lets c what this car can do LETS LOOK at some facts .Once you go over 240kmh everything changes reactions become tooo slow to b safe. those carbon brakes make ones head spin. and when you push that button you exceed 300kmh in an instant.

    We won't being doing sports plus mode because of safety in the wet….. blam that's 200kph… hahahha only in Germany.

26. Great job, very thorough.
    For me the 911 Turbo has ALWAYS been the best mix of easy driving, yet performance on demand that is better than all but a tiny number of vehicles, and even those I expect with this version aren't any faster in any useful sense. To match it in other supercar models, and none top it for sheer acceleration from standing start, you typically have to spend anything up to twice the price.
    I got to drive the infamous 4 speed manual 3.3 Turbo of the 80s quite often for a few years; a friend's father had one and he used to let me drive it while I was 18-20 years old (how amazingly generous, such a great guy). Even back then it was something ridiculous and special for its time.
    I would love to experience one of these amazing vehicles for a day, just to have that memory of being in something at the leading edge of road legal sports cars.

29. Great review as always. This model really does drive home the question – is there more enjoyment to be had from the base 911 model on the public highways, particularly outside Autobahn land? The acceleration available is monumental and must be frustrating on UK roads. Perhaps even the GT3 (IF available) would strike a driving license safer balance – crazy as that statement may seem!

31. I wish they would offer the Turbo/S model with an option of fixed rear-wing deletion.. such as the one offered on the GT3 Touring.
    
    Just love the 911's sloping lines and the big wings just have never done it for me…

34. Thomas, your reviews will be better if you mention the exterior colour the car is spec-ed with. For example if this is GT Silver or Dolomite Silver.

36. A great review Thomas. If I had the means, I would prefer the Turbo S over others for every day driving.

37. I assume this is a press car? It might have been abused/glazed. My PCCB are super sweet, bet brake feel of any car I have driven, but I did (after recommendation from my racing / presenter guy to spend 500km breaking them in first).
