That's a top tip. When I attended boatbuilding college I was taught in the use of the spilling batten, used more in the replication of curved edges. I see though that Jonathan has already mentioned it. It does use a similar principle, but your ticking stick is definitely getting stored away in the 'ideas department' of my mind. Thank you.
