18. is it not easier to drive into a perpendicular parking space and reverse out into the larger area of the road, than reversing into a smaller space?

19. I can never understand why anyone would back in to a perpendicular parking space. It takes three times as long as it does to just pull in normally and then back out. Drives me nuts when I have to wait for someone who doesn't know what they're doing to try lining up their car to back into a spot. Jesus, just drive straight into it!
