when i try to connect, it keeps saying "a password is required" even though I already put in the correct one, over and over. Any fix?
I just do it and works. Try with the tcp file instead of the udp
Connection failed beacause VPN service failed to start.. can anyone help me
It worked. Thanks!
it works but i need to know the fastest vpn
For all having connection timed out failure!
For newer versions of ubuntu make sure when you import the ca.crt and certificate.crt files, that there not flipped flopped. In the VPN, my ca certificate file is first, then the user certificate. Unlike in this video is vice versa, due to older version of Ubuntu.
😍
is that working on ubuntu 18.04?
Shows connection timed out
shows message vpn connection failed due to timed out. What's Problem?
bro what if i have to add through udp-53??
شكرا جزيلا يا قناة صفاء .. بارك الله فيكي
Great! Works for Ubuntu 18.04 as well
for people who have ubuntu 18.04 and can't put ca ,certificate and key files you should do these two commands
sudo apt install network-manager-openvpn-gnome
sudo service network-manager restart
Wo is here only for music??
TE AMO solo dire eso TE AMO, funciona desde ubuntu 18.04. NOTA instale el network-manager como lo hizo fed
how do i use this on kodi
for me I also have to give a CA private key, but i dont have one and neither I know where i can find it :/
Cant create new document
Works also in ubuntu 18 thanks
VPN has connected but it still shows my correct IP address and location!
For those complaining 'connection attempt timed out', go to Setting > System Setting > Network, select your VPN, then go to 'configure' and update all the parameters like password, file links etc as described in this video.
Thanks, worked for me
Thank you very much for these explanations. It worked perfectly with Ubuntu 18.04 and Hide My Ass !
Ok, I got everything loaded… now it says connection failed… What now?
I followed instructions, but I don't see "openvpn" on drop menu in network connections… why is this so?
ever I reconnect to my wifi I have to do this? There is no way to do this automatically?
Great; worked for me (Ubuntu 18.04).
I think one of the reasons of connecting issues is which VPNBook changes the password from time to time. So I guess if VPN stopped working, then we have to go to vpnbook.com, and update the VPN's password.
Saved my ass thanks
I love the music <3 <3 <3
Hey man!!!! Thank you very much for the video! You helped me a lot!!!
Finally! A good ol' background music with a useful explanation video. Classic!
ive done all what you said but it cant connect
You guys may have to install these:
network-manager-openvpn
network-manager-openvpn-gnome
network-manager-pptp
network-manager-vpnc
If you don't see open vpn in the options!
Thank you. Great tutorial!
works ok on my 16.04 ubuntu, thanks mate, although I had to do 2 small adjustments:
1. Also install network-manager-openvpn-gnome Otherwise I coulnt see the openvpn. To sum up all I need to install was:
$ sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn network-manager-openvpn-gnome
2. When I click on the network icon (top right hand side corner where you see the wireless icon), The "Add VPN" option was disabled, but I went to edit connections and then I could add the connection from there.
The rest I followed all the instractions and all works perfect!!
Thank you!
vpn connected but Ip didn't change, what's the use then?
Sir I have Linux Ubuntu 17.10 so what is the process to configure VPN please help sir

Čitam spiskove paketa… Done
Gradim stablo zavisnosti
Reading state information… Done
