  20. Card cube trick:
    There are 26 actual cubes comprising a Rubix. Coincidentally, the precise number of cards you need to pretend like you're accounting for 52, when you're actually not. You only need red-black distinctions, but suggest to the audience that you're also accounting for suits, when you're not.
    Hide some very carefully torn corners in each cube, memorize them, and when the card is chosen, you carefully tear it SIMILARLY to all the others, and announce which one to pop open. To gain access to the full range of 52 cards with suits, you simply add a cube, one cube being two full suits, and the other being a precisely organized match of the other two suits, to make memorization easier.
    This trick is learned so that you can cover for the fact that this guy is actually a sorcerer.
