I recently got the chance to visit London and in this video, I wanted to find out what English people think about America or Americans in general. I was inspired by the “What are the American Stereotypes” video. Everything in this video was super broad and meant to be fairly light hearted. So, the questions I asked the AWESOME people that decided to do the interview include:

1. Have you ever been to America? (00:29)

2. What do you think about America? (00:59)

3. What do you think about AMERICANS? (3:27)

4. What is something you LIKE about America? (5:53)

5. What is something you DISLIKE about America? (7:42)

6. Can you give us your BEST American accent? (10:31)

This video closely follows the layout of the previous video “What do Scottish people think about America” because they were shot around the same time. Thanks again to all the people in the video who decided take some time and do the interview!

  1. I live in California and been it the south many times and people there are usually nice. I've seen sighs on private stores and gas stations that advertises how nice they are. May I also say that I'm Mexican so not all the people in the south are racist

  2. Wow!! Last time I checked India and China emits more pollution than any other country. Remember why the settlers left ENGLAND. Its not perfect but was formed for religious freedom and the right to bear arms. TRUMP 2020!!! 4 more years before the socialist democraps ruin the country promising free stuff.

  3. Trump is the Heartland crying out for economic and immigration relief!!

Trump is Democracy, the sad thing about Europe/UK ???

Their all for freedom of Speech ,as long as you agree with them!!

  4. Correction (and Brits always get this wrong, I've even had an Englishman who's been over the pond a lot help correct our commonwealth friends on this one): Most Americans see America as the center of America's universe, not the world's universe. It's big and varied enough to make this so, as you know. Americans generally grow up rightly assuming that every country will be the center of their own universe based on the experience Americans have in their own country. Once leaving America long-term I was absolutely gobsmacked that besides having American entertainment and news shoved down your throats that countries all over the world CHOOSE to use American textbooks, American population data, American this, American that….and I realized slowly that most other countries simply don't have the money, power, or creativity to generate such copious amounts of content (yet). If you are not American, you should not assume that Americans think America is the center of your world….most Americans think you grow up with your country as the center of your world because Americans don't understand how much their wealth/influence/content generation dominates other countries so invasively. AT ALL. Not Remotely. There's no way they could ever ever ever know how invasive our content is globally. Most Americans don't know you aren't as wrapped up in your spot as they are in their spot. If you grew up in a country like America (insulated), where every workaholic immigrated to for generations, wouldn't you be under the assumption that everyone else was the same (insulated and focused on their own work and country) until experience taught you otherwise? In conclusion, it's not America's fault that your country's size/wealth/resources/government/creativity/abilities can't generate enough news/content/whatever to keep your gaze focused entirely inward. And you can probably thank Napoleon, Mexico, France, Jefferson and a few other presidents for making us so BIG.

  5. Love small town USA that's where you find the US back bone however as in the UK cities tend to be successful but the people generally tend to be self absorbed andp shallow

  6. And why CANADIANS have to live down what England and Europe think of the US is totally incomprehensible. Wherever I go I get asked, if I'm lucky and they're being polite, IF I'm an "American." As if that's the first assumption and what they WANT me to be, so they can proceed to shit on me. Some places if I tell them I'm Canadian they keep calling me "American" after that, what is that about?? Oh yeah, the Canadian Embassies tell me "they think you're American because you're black."

  8. And NONE of this is conducive to getting a job if you are told you
"sound American." They don't want you teaching English – some countries
actually say "no American accents." (Czech Republic) Or if they think
"your accent is cute" then they'll not take you seriously as an English
teacher or a Maths teacher!! At least that's what I took from the way
the UK treated me initially before I got my Irish National Insurance
Number – that I was "unqualified trash, unfit to teach Maths, go back
    where you came from!"

  10. Me and my partner have friends who are American and I'm English if you are friends with them to me they are just like my English mates also they are not all eating burgers and all the kids in England also say awesome to much when they are after something.

  12. After viewing this video….The result of my analysis is the the UK Government has enslave the UK people. They do not realize that food should not cost that much, and every citizen has an inalienable Right to protect themselves and their family. The brainwashing and threat of non compliance in the UK is so bad that not one of these young and ignorant students that their own UK Gov has disarmed them. And their ignorance is further strained by the woman who says that she does not like Trump…… which means that the FEP (Financially Elite Psychopaths) Own owned News Medias in the UK are also manipulated buy the FEP. Trump would never allow our 2nd Amendment to be removed under his watch – as the greedy tyrannical UK Politicians have.

Our bill of Rights 2nd Amendment states:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

And we will fight if any political area of the USA attempts to restrict or confiscate our most capable rifles or rifle parts or ammo !!!!

Psycho shooting occur because your own tyrannical government forces laws that prevent gun owners from protecting all city venues.

This is simply a call by your own treasonous politicians for psychos to come in and shoot up those Gov disarmed city venues.

And after a few people are shot dead in these Gov disarmed venues, then your tyrannical Government comes in and demands your guns.

And if your schools have inhibited the study of History relating to tyranny and Democide from your school studies, then you are more likely to give up the only protection for your Freedom (YOUR GUNS) and generations of feeble minded disarmed youth of UK will point at Tommy Robinson and Donald Trump and say "I don't like him" and by using the schools and FEP owned News Medias, the brainwashing is complete, and enslavement will only be recognized when the small portions of food become starvation, and the high taxes become property confiscation.

A quote by Cicero in the year (43 B.C)

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot

survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable,

for he is known and carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves

amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling

through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar

to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he

appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He

rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night

to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so

that it can not longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared."

  13. I'm American, I love England for all the great rock and roll bands they given us. Also for making Naim Audio Salisbury, and Rega Research South End On Sea . I own Rega turntable, and naim nait.. 🤗
Thank you >naim audio, rega research.

  14. Real Brits think of the Americans as our cousins, as the Aussies, Kiwis and Canadians are our brothers. I can't speak for the immigrants, whom we have to pretend are Britons, these days.

  15. Too bad our British cousins are a bit brainwashed (politically) against American values. They forget we Americans have gotten nearly everything right politically since 1776. That's why if you look at that recent history since then its them and the free world that follow us. American spirit is the "i don't give a fuck" and "can do spirit" that separates us from the rest of the world. And to our British cousins get used to Trump because he is not only saving the US but will save them as well (despite themselves). I respect the British and her history because that's where we came from and it would be stupid not to recognize and be proud of that history. They need to stop watching the mainstream media which is misleading them from whats really going on.

  16. Pretty video. Not scientific, just random. A number of the people being interviewed AREN'T ENGLISH! They may have a UK Passport and be a UK Citizen technically, but they aren't English.

  17. I voted for Trump. I like what he's doing. He is necessary for this time. I plan to vote for him again. The media has painted him in a bad light but I like his policies. I like what he represents. Political correctness is evil but the young don't see it…yet.
