  21. Just took the AWS cert test. A cloud guru is a lot better than cbt nuggets. Linux academy is also good.

  22. Just got my CCENT a couple days ago. Was planning on continuing for my CCNA and then hopping over for cloud certs but after watching this, it sounds like it may be better to just go Cloud+/AWS. Thoughts on going through ICND2 or head to cloud now? Would a CCNA be better to transition to a entry network role (been help desk/support for about 5 years but no networking experience)?

    this is Deepak Sonare from INDIA, i have done CCNA and JNCIA and having 8 years of exp in telecom and enterprise networking. Now i am pursuing AWS solutions architect course but i found it more into stuff like servers, linux, unix and windows, now i am bit worried if my previous exp. will help me getting job after completing AWS solutions architect cert. Please suggest.

What I learned from taking certifications are: 1, take the basic cert only when you are looking to enter a job. 2, after then take the advanced cert after you get the job and if applying for a senior position. 3, you can ditch Cisco cert and take Juniper instead to save money unless a company will shoulder the cost for you 🙂
