33. This is the video that made me want to go into prosthetic engineering. Now, I am an undergraduate at the University of Alabama heading towards a degree in mechanical engineering, and hopefully to later go on to graduate school at John Hopkins University or Georgia Institute of Technology. This is absolutely incredible, and since then, there has been more technology that has been created that can read pulses sent from the brain that can be interpreted into movement, and some that can even allow small degrees of a sense of feeling back into lost limbs. I hope that one day I may pioneer such innovations into the prosthetic market and help millions.
